RMR drops “That Was Therapeutic” visual co-starring Amber Rose

It’s still hard to know what to make of Atlanta artist RMR. The 24-year-old signed to Warner Records earlier in the year after the viral success of his track “Rascal.”

The song, lovelorn poppy singing over a melancholy piano instrumental, matches the accompanying visual about as seamlessly as Fruit Loops and hot sauce. The video sees him and his friends toting semi-automatic guns and pistols at the camera while dawning ski masks and gold grills.

RMR’s newest project, Drug Dealing is a Lost Art, sees him diving deeper into more Roy Woods-esk vocals with raspy, heartfelt singing over a mix of hard-hitting trap beats, indie-pop synth riffs, and spacey rap instrumentals.

The up-and-coming talent’s new visual “That Was Therapeutic” sees him seated across from model/mogul Amber Rose who plays his therapist. RMR lets his heart bleed out over the slow, dramatic piano instrumental. He details his struggles with trying to get people in his life as well as his fanbase to understand him for who he is.

G Herbo and Chance the Rapper honored the late rapper Juice Wrld in a heartfelt performance of their track “PTSD” on last Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Herbo’s close friend and frequent collaborator Lil Bibby famously signed Juice to his Grade A label in March of 2018. The trio were close friends for the fallen Chicago rapper’s short but impactful career and showed paid tribute to him shortly after his death on Instagram.

After Chance and Herbo had exchanged raw performances on Fallon, the two walked off set to reveal a purple screening of Juice looking upwards. Despite Juice Wrld’s tragic and untimely death, his work will live on through people like Herbo and Chance as well as his protege The Kid LAROI. His influence will be felt for generations.
