Peace Galaxy talks about the origin of her unique sound, musical influences, and more

The song is a sensual and seductive sounding track with a very upbeat and complex beat. Lil Durk returns with new visual “Backdoor”

Chicago rap star Lil Durk released the reflective cut “Backdoor” and its accompanying visual on Monday. The track is trending #1 on Youtube with almost 2 million views in under 24 hours. Check out the video below!

2020 has been a year full of ups and downs for Lil Durk. On the upside, the OTF head honcho had one of the most successful years of his career. He was nominated for two Grammys, a first in his decade long career, had three singles go gold along with his album Just Cause Y’all Waited 2, and had two platinum tracks as well.

However, Durk lost a close friend and signee of his OTF label King Von, who was killed back in early November. Von was a rising star in rap known for his “Crazy Story” series as well as his vivid storytelling and aggressive delivery.

While not directly saying Von’s name, “Backdoor” is a tribute to him as well as the troubles and paranoia associated with life in the streets. With lyrics like “Close that backdoor, can’t get shaked at by my homie”, Durk paints a lucid picture of these struggles.

Check out “Backdoor” on all platforms now and stay tuned for Durk’s upcoming project The Voice!
