“Tonight” is accompanied by a visual and is out now!
JAYCENTH has just released his new single “Tonight” featuring Kalan.FrFr from his upcoming album God’s Timing. The new song is perfect to play before a night out on the town as the California emcee uses the beat to flex and hype himself up, sounding more than self-assured when he raps “look at me balling, b-tch I’m next up,” and flirtatiously lets the lady who has caught his affections know that she is in for an excitable night with him telling her “it’s going down.”
The upbeat and melodious track showcases JAYCENTH’s versatility and progression as an artist. “I can provide the vibes, I can make R&B waves for the ladies and when it comes to rapping I’m second to none,” he said in a recent interview.
While “Tonight” is the rapper’s lead single for his new project dropping later on this summer, he has put out other music recently that is worth noting such as his two singles “My Year” and “Whoa” that released earlier this year and also his 2020 full-length project: It’s Just Different.
He formerly went by the artist name “Jayo Cortez,” but JAYCENTH’S name change coincides perfectly with this new era of music that he is walking into.
“JAYCENTH represents the best version of me,” he explained when asked about his name. “I’m more mature, more confident, and my sound is more refined.”
Describing his next album God’s Timing as simply “the one,”– if “Tonight” is any indication of what else is to come from that project listeners are undeniably in for the best kind of experience.
