Xion McKnight shows off skills in new visual “Prayer and Patience”

XION MCKNIGHT reflects on life and isolation in his new visual, “PRAYER and PATIENCE.”

XION MCKNIGHT just released a new visual for his track, “PRAYER and PATIENCE,” a trippy visual following Xion alone around his Atlanta, Georgia neighborhood.

Atlanta native XION MCKNIGHT is back and better than ever, refining his sound and coming through with some trippy visuals in his new music video, “PRAYER and PATIENCE.”

The visual for “PRAYER and PATIENCE” opens with a hypnotic optical effect, blurring the world around you, juxtaposing it with a still of MCKNIGHT alone in a bright white shirt, an image of isolation that is recurring throughout the visual. As the video progresses, XION isn’t alone the entire time, but it is a good portion of the video we find XION MCKNIGHT alone, reflecting and idly waiting, which can be seen as a prayer or meditation, seeking isolation and reflection for a greater meaning to life.

“Prayer is the most important thing we need right now,” MCKNIGHT says. “Everything else can run its course.”

This isolation in the music video is seen by XION being alone or not connected with the people around him as he is on a stool facing away from his friends, as they jump around and have fun, and in a desolate alley alone rapping about life. These images are frequenting as they are contrasted with images of XION next to his homies, as fireworks pop off in the back, a power shot, which shows the duality of XION MCKNIGHT’s life.

XION MCKNIGHT dubs his sound a sort of “dark but vibrant” cadence and sound that mirrors how he feels in life right now. Further, this idea of “dark but vibrant” can also be illustrated in the visual, with these moments of XION MCKNIGHT alone but still glowing, almost transcendent as he will always try to illuminate the world around him

even if it starts on the inside first.

LA artist AQ releases lead single and visual “Too Comfortable”

Los Angeles artist AQ is keeping the momentum going with his newest single “Too Comfortable,” ahead of his upcoming EP ‘Hollywood Hurts.’

LA native AQ is bringing all the vibes this summer. His newest track, “Too Comfortable” just dropped and is setting the tone for what audiences can expect from him going forward. The song is definitelya vibe and showcases how AQ is taking his talent to new levels as an artist. The new visual takes place on the beach, where AQ is seen catching a vibe and singing to a woman, telling her not to get “Too Comfortable.”

AQ credits growing up in Los Angeles as the reason for making him who he is today. He says that a large part of his storytelling references the experiences he’s had in the city.

“I want people to hear the sincerity & passion in the music,” AQ shared during a recent interview. ” The way I talk, the slang I use in my songs, the places I reference in the music. When I think of LA as a whole, I’d say I am the city, the city is me. I love Los Angeles, it made me who I am.

The former basketball player-turned-recording artist is on a mission to get to the top with his music, and tells stories through his experiences in Los Angeles to help drive that narrative.

“LA plays a major role in the way I make music,” he said. “The LA dance culture is huge for me, I grew up partying, going to house parties, teen clubs and we would really dance at the events. So the beats I choose definitely have a certain groove to them that I want the listener to be able to dance.”

As seen in recent records such as “Top 10” ft. LA Higgz, AQ is no stranger to the life of the party and wants his music to help people have a good time, whether they’re at a party or vibing and driving down PCH.

“Too Comfortable” is just the latest piece of work from the emcee and is just the beginning of what he’s prepared to do. He still has a main goal of wanting listeners to “feel something” whenever they hear his music, no matter what that feeling may be. He will be releasing his full length project ‘Hollywood Hurts’ on October 8, which will see features from Casey Veggies, J. Star, and WaveMVP.

Jeda Voice is an independent artist who is a star on the rise! His name comes from being told he had a great voice, something for the world, then he saw his name in a vision. He wrote it down and has been Jeda Voice ever since. The California native is proud of where he came from, and you can hear it in his music.

When asked why music is a passion of his, Jeda Voice responded, “Music has this deep soul tie with me I believe it chose me and we all have choices, and my choice is to use my gift the best way possible.”

What he loves the most about being an artist is the connection he has with his music. Music has this deep soul tie with Jeda Voice and he believes it chose him and we all have choices and his choice is to utilize his gift the best way possible. His goals in the music industry are to one day work with Kanye West, Ty Dolla Sign, and H.E.R.
