In the wake of her eargasmic record, “Talk To Me Nice”, ATL’s R&B sensation Shonte Renee is all about giving ladies the keys to girl power. On her latest record, she is all about owning your sexiness as a woman, uplifting them and empowering them to take control of the narrative at all times on her latest anthem.

What city are you from/ Where are you based now? I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and I’m still here.
What is your artist name? What is your real name? How did you get your artist name? My artist name is my Real name! “Shonte Renee,” my big sister named me!
How would you describe your sound to readers who may not be familiar with you? My sound is nostalgic, pop & R&B and very sensual lyrics!
What’s one reason you are passionate about music and what inspires you? Music is what I was created to do… it’s hard to do anything else lol! Great music from other artists inspires me! Old and new.
Who are some of your main musical influences? Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, TLC, Destiny Child, Toni Braxton, JLO, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, and Prince.
Tell us the name of the project you are currently promoting? What inspired this project? My new single “Talk To Me Nice” is out now! What inspired that song was just having fun and not thinking about! And it came out great.
Date that this project dropped or is set to drop? My song “Talk To Me Nice” dropped November 5th.
What is this project about in your own words? This song is goddess vibes! The woman is God and you will respect her! I’m in control of all situations and you have to follow.
What’s next for you? Are you working on any upcoming projects we should be on the lookout for? Include some dates if you have them. Yes! My album “Goddess Renee” Dropping soon! No date yet, but it’s going to be fire!
