His casting company Mill Ticket Entertainment has built legacies and has helped musicians such as Tyga, Nicki Minaj and Offset in selling millions of records worldwide.
Even though thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs come to realize their passion in the city of dreams, only a handful can establish themselves in the current environment. Aside from being passionate, entrepreneurs have to produce results day in and day out and go through many sleepless nights to achieve success. The same statement can be applied to E. Mills of Mill Ticket Entertainment, an LA entrepreneur who trained himself to outwork the competition consistently.
Being the only black aspiring casting director in the industry, he had to overcome many challenges to turn a “behind the scenes job” into a “lifestyle and a brand.” Growing up, he had always been fascinated with the entertainment industry and got into acting at a young age. This career path made him realize the many career opportunities that await in this industry.
After struggling with closed doors for many years, this visionary developed a plan and executed every step to perfection. Driven to succeed, this individual pursued every opportunity until he could turn every “no” into a “yes.”
Fast forward a few years, and now this man has established his brand quite nicely in the city of dreams. He has divided the brand into four divisions, including Music, Sports, Fashion, and Film. All of these divisions follow a specialized pattern to achieve perfection in their respective sectors. With that said, the amazing team behind this brand has assisted many legendary artists in selling millions of records worldwide.
It is truly inspirational how E. Mills didn’t lose hope after struggling with every rejection. Instead, he held on to his vision, and now his brand is one of the most recognized casting companies across the nation. When asked about his journey, he mentioned that having the ability to not take “no” for an answer and keep coming back is what got him to this point.
Now, his work speaks for himself and he’s one of the top casting directors in the city.
GSambo is an elite name in the Richmond, Virginia music scene. His troubled past is no indication of what he will do going forward. His newest single, “Faygo,” featuring Paper Route Empire’s Key Glock, is truly something. Coming off the steam of Billboard’s #1 Independent album Yellow Tape 2, Key Glock stamps VA’s GSambo with a hard-hitting verse. The chemistry between the pair is legit. Key Glock does not do many features, so you can tell that this one wasn’t a mail-in verse.
GSambo is unique, enigmatic, and a force to be reckoned with in his state and beyond. Growing up dealing with legal issues would usually discourage someone from chasing their actual goals. Sambo has promised himself that he will always remain steadfast in his journey to become an icon in the music space. This year he has seen a lot of success from his singles. Tracks like “IRDGAF” (Remix) with Asian Doll, “Kyrie,” and “Wait” are all seeing their success on streaming platforms. This time around might be the biggest. After touring with the likes of Stunna 4 Vegas and other notable acts in the industry, GSambo is looking to shine the light on his otherwise overlooked region.
Stream “Faygo” featuring Key Glock out now on all platforms!
When Wantmore N8 was growing up, he was an avid reader and was a sponge for absorbing information. In an interview with Remixd Magazine, Wantmore N8 (who goes by N8), said that he raised himself on a steady diet of classic American novels and an occasional Cam’ron tape. According to him, his teachers instilled in him the importance of the idea that every great writer must be a great reader too. He goes by the motto that in order to create something of substance, one must learn from the greats — and that’s exactly what he’s doing currently in his music career with some of his musical inspirations.
N8 is an underground artist born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area city of Richmond. His spoken word-like flow, unique subject matter, and beat selection makes him stand out — especially coming from an area with a popularized sound.
Inspired by artists from both coasts and down south, he has a well-rounded ear and palate for music. In one verse he raps “Check my style I grew up on Mac Dre and Cameron Giles (Cam’ron)” giving an ode to this wide range of inspiration. His latest two EPs in the recent years, TheNigTape and Capricorn Son, displays some of his inspirations and are available now on streaming sites.
His upcoming project is slated to release in the late first quarter of 2021 is described as a blend of the previous two. TheNigTape was all the way left, Capricorn Son was all the way right, this next project blends both and captures my style and personality perfectly,” he says when asked about the project. Make sure you follow his Twitter and Instagram at @WantmoreN8 respectively.

I’m from Richmond, CA and I’m currently based in the Bay Area.
At what point in your life did you decide to pursue a career inmusic?
To be honest I still haven’t decided to pursue a career in music. It’s something that I love to do and any profits made are just the icing on the cake.
Has your upbringing played a role in shaping who you are and defining yoursound today? If so, how?
My upbringing has everything to do with who I am and how my music sounds. Myexperiences give me content to rap about and shape the way I view and interpret what’shappening in the world around me.
How would you describe your sound to readers who may not be familiarwith you?
I would describe my sound as a poetic conversation over smooth to uptempoinstrumentals. My cadence is sometimes compared to spoken word and I approachverses as if I’m talking to the listener.
What ultimately inspired you to dedicate yourself to a music career?
Music is my passion, I’m a fan first, it’s something I’d be doing and listening toregardless to anything else that’s going on.
What’s one reason you are passionate about music and what inspiresyou?
I love how versatile music is, how it can inspire you, motivate you, make youhappy, make you sad, even teach you. I’m inspired by everyday life, my experiences, the experiences of people around me, and even things going on 1,000 miles away.
Do you have hobbies outside of music? What do you do to stay creative?
I have a lot of hobbies, I like working out, traveling, cooking, watching UFC fights, reading, hiking, documentaries, art, I’m open to a lot. As long as I’m goingoutside and experiencing life I’ll always be inspired.

What has been the response been like to that project?
The project got a good response I actually just released a video to one of thecrowd favorites on the tape called “Candlelit Conversations.”
What are some projects you’ve done in the past that you are most proud ofand why?
The two projects I’m most proud of are “The NigTape” and “Capricorn Son”because they show both sides of style. “The NigTape” is more street, Bay Area beatsand a style I named “caption rap” which is catchy, witty lines that make good IG captions.“Capricorn Son” is more mellow, lyric driven, inspirational verses on smooth samples. Ifyou blend both of these EPs together you get me as an artist and person.
What’s next for you? Are you working on any upcoming projects weshould be on the lookout for? Include some dates if you have them.
I have an EP solely produced by Drew Banga that I’m excited to release! Idon’t have a name yet but I’m aiming for a late 1st quarter release.

My music lets fans know that it’s ok to be yourself and it’s ok to be multi-layered.We’re human beings we can’t be held in a box, we’re forever changing and it’s cool toembrace that.
