Texas Rapper YTM Lilvent Releases New Single “Nothing”

Texas rapper YTM Lilvent has continued to stay incredibly consistent and create a name for himself since his decision to take music seriously, just a short time ago. The Mexican-American act released a whopping __ videos in a years time and finds himself constantly going viral on various influential media platforms. Today, he brings us a brand new single featuring fellow Texas artists. Izzy93, Lil A, Lil M3D, and crew-mate YTM Lilvier titled “Nothing”. The Texan harmonizes his voice with dreary autotune in his signature style, rapping about his lifestyle with introspective bars such as “Ima stand up for something, my Daddy told me I wouldn’t be nothing, now I turned the tables and got to the money” over an angelic guitar beat which sounds like it could’ve been used by current rap heavyweights like Gunna or Lil’ Baby.

Rony talks upcoming release of his newest single, “Portland”

Portland based artist, Rony, is stepping into 2022 with a renewed sense of hustle and a new single, titled “Portland.” Originally from Mission Viejo, California, the young star has spent the last two years releasing music, while carving out his own unique space on the music scene.

“I’m from Portland, and our city motto is “keep Portland weird.” I’m inspired by the city’s culture and that’s what inspired this track. I never hesitate to inject my input in whatever project I’m doing,” Rony shared.

For Rony, his musical inspirations encompass more than just the cultural vibes of his hometown. According to the creative, “Michael Jackson, Drake, Eminem, Nas, and Drakeo the Ruler,” are just a few of the key artists who’ve helped shape the versatile approach he takes with his music.

“I love being versatile, because it allows me to be more creative…I would describe my sound as laid back and relaxed, but people have also compared my sound to DaBaby, because it can be fast and energetic.”

The January 21st release of “Portland” highlights the rapper’s musical return, since last year’s release of “Invincible,” his previous single. For Rony though, “Portland” will precede the debut of his first EP, a project that the artist believes will be his “best work yet.”

Music is all I think about each and every day. I dream about making music and sometimes I just wake up and begin writing and recording. I’m currently working on my debut EP which is set to release in mid-March. The project includes 8-10 tracks, and it will be my best work yet.

What message do you hope fans take away from your music and from this project?

My message to my supporters is that anything is possible if you put your mind to it and effort into it. Grind everyday and you will for sure see results. Lastly, chase your dreams because life is too short.

Fast rising Aaron Jas drops long-awaited “Currently” project

The record features Cvrtdaguy, Cheeko, and frequent collaborator – Wavy Island

After much anticipation, burgeoning pop-rap act and Elizabeth City, NC’s very own — Aaron Jas — returns with his sophmore full LP titled, Currently. Aaron comes straight out the gate with his foot on the gas pedal following this top-of-the-year record alerting everyone why he is one of the gargantuan artists hailing from North Carolina.

The record is nine tracks long, runs for 21 minutes, and was led by the singles Time & Time Again (feat. Cheeko), & Bring Em Out.

Speaking on the project, Aaron explained to Remixd Mag the project is just him growing from his 2020 debut LP – Balance – and essentially enjoying the creative process:

“The inspiration behind this was just me trying to grow from my last project and just having more fun while creating the music” he said.

He went on to articulate that the project highlights his current mind state and life events at this specific point in time serving as a diary or documentary type of project.

“This project is about where I currently am in my life. The direction I wanted to go with

this project was to just relax and make it a fun listening experience overall. I’m experimenting with more melodies, flows and cadences than I did on my last project.”

Using a hybrid of skits, cohesiveness, sharpness, and imperious focus, Aaron allows himself to be inventive in expressing himself, and ultimately makes him more vulnerable as he shares stories on his life that variate from his relationships with women (Best Friend & Wine and Dine), his aspirations (Did It Again), and sees him almost indomitable as he raps on crispy cuts and stays reminding us why he is in the ones to watch emcee category (Back Again).

His trademark bouncy beats, thought-provoking lyricism, and high BPM deliveries are on show once again.
