Eras show the evolution of Leek’s sound and a more in-depth perspective of LeekInDaCut, something we rarely get from the emcee.
LeekInDaCut‘s Eras dropped on February 4th, 2022, and the five-track project is full of highs and lows with moments of reflection that we don’t normally get from Leek, making his debut project a thoughtful and in-depth introduction to Leek’s inner thoughts.
With the evolution of sound being the focal point for Leek’s first project, it is clear he succeeds, showcasing his aptitude and adaptability of sound, which is an impressive introduction for a first tape.
“I was inspired to release Eras to show the evolution of my music and my sound. I wanted to give my fans these records and show them I am able to put together a body of work. I’m proud of my first project, and this is just the beginning for me.”
LeekInDaCut’s debut project features some insane tracks like “EverybodyIndaCut,” “Angels,” “Rainstorm,” which is some of his best work to date. Not to mention his song, “How I Do,” which showcases Leek’s ability to adapt to any sound and make it his own, carving a lane for himself wherever he goes, proving his spot, and showing everyone what he can offer, as his solo-debut project is a must-listen.
“The project is about me and my experiences. In the intro “Rainstorm,” I’m expressing what happens in my world. Showing my fans my perspective and what I go through as a person. I’m a private person, but I use my music to open up. This project is a chance for fans to get to know me more and hear my perspective.”
Leek opens up in ways we have never seen with such introspection and vulnerability, especially in the previous track, “Rainstorm,” which is the perfect introduction to Eras, setting the tone for what is to come as Leek says, “this is just the beginning.”
With such powerful lyricism paired with a “melodic and energetic but also smooth and uplifting” sound, Leek creates one of the best solo-debut projects we have seen in a while, so we can not wait to see what LeekInDaCut has in store for us next.
Be sure to tap in with LeekInDaCut via social media @leekindacut on Instagram and Twitter, since he is “currently working on a new project and will have new music coming before that as well. And stay tuned for the EverybodyIndaCut music video dropping soon!”

Zoe Deuce Papi drops his first full-length project, ‘Zoetry’
Zoetry delivers a smooth rhythm and vibe as Zoe Deuce Papi glides over each track. Listen to his latest project below.
Zoe Deuce Papi, born in North Miami, Florida, currently based in Los Angeles, California, is gearing up for a big 2022 with his latest project, Zoetry.
Zoetry is Zoe Deuce Papi’s first project. The sixteen-track project, featuring Slida Keem and GroundWork Doe, is full of highs and lows, with fun yet introspective moments that mesmerize the mind. Zoe Deuce Papi channels some of his most refined work to date on this project, as he wanted to focus on lyricism, as this is Zoetry. A mix between his Haitian/Zoe roots and the poetry he has been writing for some time.
“I called it Zoetry because with music I first started off doing poetry and being from Miami, Us Zoe’s like to put Z’s in front of our words, so Zoetry is me saying I am a Haitian/Zoe Poet and me showing my wordplay onto beats coming from doing poetry before,” he said. “ZOETRY contains an array of different flows on top of soft subtle melodic trap beats of me speaking about different points of my life. It’s just me expressing myself and speaking on what I felt at the moment of recording the tape.”
And you can hear the difference in the tape. Zoe Deuce Papi has already given us so much. Though, Zoetry takes a deeper dive into his life, from the good to the bad. The trials and tribulations in between. Zoe does not front, giving us a tape that’s setting himself apart from the rest. His music has this genuine feeling that does not feel artificial, making for an entertaining listening process, as his introspective poetry on his latest project reflects an authentic and relatable project.
“It’s been a great way for me to express myself and the life around me, especially since I tend to not talk much. It’s funny to me lowkey; it’s inspiring when just me rapping about stuff I go through and having someone I’ve never met be able to relate or even have the people around me proud because it’s a voice to the things we know or grew up seeing or whatever the case may be.
His sound is subtle, light, introspective, and chill yet can also be charismatic, brash, and a bit gritty, seen in songs like “Good Fellaz,” the eponymous song, “Zoetry,” “Good Fellaz Muzik,” “In My Vibe,” “North Miami Zoe,” featuring Slida Keem, Zoe Deuce Papi has proven his versatility as an artist. His musicality and tenacity to make music has secured his spot already as an artist on the rise.
With this and so many other hits on Zoetry, Zoe’s debut project deserves a spot on any of your playlists, as his adaptability can set any mood. So be sure to check out his latest project, Zoetry, and follow him on social media @zoedeucepapi on Instagram.
