17-year-old K2icyy finds comfort in his music with the upbeat breakup song “Big Rock”

Growing up surrounded by music, 17-year-old K2icyy got his start and inspiration at a very young age. With music ingrained in his upbringing, it was just a matter of time before the young star would soon start making music of his own. With extra time on his hands during the Covid 19 pandemic, 2020 granted K2icyy the perfect time to invest himself into music and provided a positive opportunity to reach out to his peers during difficult times.

Difficult times are nothing new to K2icyy, who tragically lost his brother in 2021. Despite this loss, the artist uses his brother’s memory to fuel his hunger for success and reach his large goals. As a multi-talented individual whose personal life is just as upbeat and versatile as his music, K2icyy balances his music career with academics and an active, athletic passion for track and football. With goals of not only working with bigger artists and performing on bigger stages, K2icyy also envisions himself creating not only a music empire but also a successful career in business marketing. In his downtime, however, K2icyy prioritizes his craft, staying up to date on various music genres to stay creative and diversify his sound. “Certain beats I hear inspire me to get in the studio and record a hit,” says K2.

Sharing further inspirations behind his music, K2 states, “One reason I’m passionate about music is it’s the one thing that takes you to a place of comfort.” After a hard breakup, K2iccy found comfort in creating, which led to the release of “Big Rock,” a catchy, quick tempoed track that reflects the situations many young couples go through. With a “Big Rock” music video accompanying the release soon, K2 reflects on his proudest moment so far, “performing at my school’s homecoming. I had a huge crowd and had my peers energized.” he states

In the words of K2icyy, “look out for k2 at a highschool near you.” In the meantime stream “Big Rock” below!
