Siiire debuts new melodic single “Drinks Up”

Rising artist Siiire is back with new music – this time, he’s released his new uplifting, feel-good song “Drinks Up.” The track is a melodic display of Siiire’s talents, showcasing his versatility and ability to drop some serious bars on a beat.

“Life these last two years inspired this song truth be told,” Siiire says in a recent interview. “There was a lot going on in the world as you may know, and people losing their lives especially…  a lot of people died over the last 3-4 years if you really think about it.”

However, on “Drinks Up,” Siiire, a Philly-native, wants to make it known that there’s always something to celebrate in the midst of life’s obstacles.

“I just wanted to celebrate my accomplishments while I can, even if they’re small, still smile and be happy for yourself,” he continued.

Inspired by artists such as David Ruffin, Luther Vandross, Ye, and Dom Kennedy, it’s clear to see where Siiire gets some of his musical vibes from, as it’s evident that he’s an artist who appreciates feel-good vibes with clever, and lyrical wordplay to accompany a beat. With a sound that can be described as “soulful hip-hop,” Siiire’s newest single arrives just in time for summer, bringing upbeat and fun energy that anyone can dance to.

Over the next few months, Siiire says that he will be working on releasing more singles and has some dope features on them and that he’s “excited to share these records.” One upcoming record in particular features LA artist Airplane James, which he’s enthusiastic about sharing soon.

“The way music makes people feel is another reason why I’m very passionate about my craft,” Siiire says. “I’m inspired by seeing some of my favorite artists being able to do this for a living.”

As far as the message that he wants audiences to take away from his music, Siiire says:

“From the project, I hope it shares the message that everything you do in life is an accomplishment, living on this earth being one of them. Anytime you feel like you did something good, have a drink and celebrate in the moment, you never know when you’ll get to do that again.”

Quavo & Takeoff (Unc and Phew) take us on a trip in new visual “Hotel Lobby”

The rap duo, which consists of Migos members Quavo and Takeoff, developed a new moniker inspired by their family ties as Quavo is Takeoff’s uncle. They debuted as Unc And Phew in the Murda Beatz produced song, “Hotel Lobby” dropped Friday, May 20th.

The visuals to the song, directed by Quavo and Keemotion, is a modern day nod to Terry Gilliam’s 1998 comedy/cult film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. In the video, Quavo & Takeoff are on a road trip to Las Vegas while also being on a figurative “bad trip”. The duo showcase their comedic talents throughout the video while minor chaos erupts on their journey to Vegas, taking psychedelics, pulling up to the hotel lobby (shot at The Plaza Hotel & Casino) under the influence with their distorted faces and hallucination, and overall experiencing the Vegas lifestyle. All while dressed in true Quavo and Takeoff fashion, styled by Brandon Yamada.

Hotel Lobby seems to be just the beginning to what Unc And Phew have in store for us. Are we ready for the takeover of the new duo?

Big Boi & Sleepy Brown share new video “Do Ya Best” Feat. Scotty ATL

Outkast’s Big Boi and Organized Noise’s Sleepy Brown have just released the visual to “Do Ya Best” (feat. Scotty ATL), a standout track on their collaborative album Big Sleepover. The vivacious visuals show Big, Sleepy, & Scotty as the centerpiece of a South Beach-style party and court-side at a high-end fashion show featuring an assortment of beautiful models.

Big Boi spits his laid-back verse sporting a Roman-style headpiece, while Sleepy lays down his smooth hook sitting on a beach surrounded by luxurious cars and the beaming sun. “Do Ya Best” (feat. Scotty ATL) was a crowd favorite from Big & Sleepy’s 2021 critically-acclaimed collaborative album Big Sleepover, and this visual only adds to the swagger and finesse of the funky track.

6-time Grammy®-winning rapper Big Boi needs little introduction. Best known as one-half of landmark hip-hop crew Outkast alongside André 3000, the Savannah-raised rapper has gone on to have a successful solo career with the critically acclaimed Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty in 2010 and 2017’s Boomiverse. Sleepy Brown is a member of the acclaimed, platinum-certified Atlanta production/writing trio Organized Noize, with Rico Wade and Ray Murray. Penning and producing hits for Outkast, Ludacris, and TLC, the trio is one of the most important production collectives in hip-hop history.

Perhaps their most well-known collaboration, Billboard #1 single “The Way You Move” from Speakerboxxx proves that the duo of Sleepy Brown and Big Boi have always had a penchant for crafting chart-topping hits together. In 2021, Big & Sleepy joined Ludacris and Killer Mike in a performance at the Atlanta Braves victory parade celebrating their World Series win––giving the hometown fans a show of a lifetime to couple with the momentous win and exhibiting exactly why they are a cornerstone in the rich history of Atlanta.

In December of last year, after a slew of successful singles like “Lower Case (no cap)” (feat. Killer Mike), “The Big Sleep Is Over” (feat. KAY-I) & “Animalz”, Big Boi & Sleepy Brown released their highly-anticipated collaborative Big Sleepover album which was met with a thunderous response from critics & long-time fans of the duo.
