K Camp shares new high-energy single and visual “Woozie”

Atlanta mogul K Camp shares a fresh new high-energy single and video, “Woozie.” On the bold track produced by FOREVEROLLING, XL Eagle, and Chase Millie, Camp is as candid as it gets as he shares his thoughts on toxic relationships with women – infectious high-hats, deep echoes and blunt bars “Say you want a birkin or a Louis, let the top down she a groupie. She an opp bitch, she a goofy, bring them racks out, make her woozie”. Listen to the track via Interscope Records HERE. With this release, K Camp is featured on New Music Daily on Apple Music. Watch him and his boys turn up in the accompanying video HERE.

Last year K Camp released his sixth studio album, FLOAT –  a new era of music the hitmaker described as his time to evolve. The fifteen track album, which amassed over 1 billion streams, features “Life Has Changed ft. PnB Rock,” – a fierce and soulful flip on “Differences” by R&B star, Ginuwine that amassed over 3 million streams on Spotify and garnered praise from REVOLT, HNHH, and was listed as one of XXL’s “Best New Songs This Week,” “Game Ain’t Free” which currently has over 4 million views, “Tables Turn,” which Rolling Stone listed as a “Song You Need To Know,” and more.“ On the alluring album he also tapped Trey Songz, Mooski and Kaleem Taylor for collaborations.

FLOAT follows K Camp’s previously released album K.I.S.S. 5 – a 15-track project that features star-studded collaborations including the likes of Ari Lennox, 6LACK, WALE, among others. The critically acclaimed album landed a spot on the Billboard 200 chart and garnered recognition from XXL, Complex, ABC News and more. A busy year for the Atlanta hit-maker, Camp continued to share videos off the project as well as release an album with his label’s roster entitled, RARE Family.

Interview: RealmuzikSK teams up with Bleu for new EP ‘Up A Level’

For Realmuzik SK, music is the way he knows he’s meant to channel himself. Stemming from his early teenage years, it became something he set on pursuing professionally one day. “At 13 years old, I knew I wanted to pursue music as a career.” The Louisiana-bred artist always felt a connection with it, and he always had his support group behind him to keep him focused. “My family, friends, and community always motivated me to do music.” The first half of his moniker comes from the label he’s signed to, R.E.A.L. Muzik, while his last half bares homage to a fallen artist that was very influential to him, Speaker Knockerz.

Throughout the times he strayed off his path, it was his aspirations in the booth that kept him grounded. He was only 16 when he dropped out of school and moved out. In moments that he hit his early lows that provided him motivation to translate his pain and experiences in his music. “You going [to] hear the raw and real emotions. The pain, the struggle, the celebrations of [the] good times… is my expression of everything I been through and going through.”

One can say his recorded process is rather meditative, as his unfiltered emotions come alive with naturally attention-grabbing melodies. Two projects in and his sound is already shaping out to be something to watch out for. His hard keeps paying off as he now releases his collaborative EP Up A Level with platinum-selling artist Yung Bleu. The three-track project is short but packed of consistency as the “Pain” lyricist switches flows and modes with ease. Realmuzik SK instantly bonded with the Bleu and it eventually led to the creation of the project. “My team reached [out] to him and for him to hit back is major love. We locked in on some things and he showed mad love.”

The project plays like yin-and-yang between their sounds, balancing SK’s foretelling lyrics and wavy flows with Bleu’s signature sing-song approach that he spices in with his raps. Between the beat selection and delivery, SK comes with a strong project that hints at potential of the stardom he seeks to achieve one day.
