Toronto’s own AD22 returns with vulnerable track “Bad 4 Me”

Toronto artist Ahmed Ismail, also known as AD22 is back with another hit single and it’s one worth listening to. Fresh off of the success of his last single “Night Shift,” his new single “Bad 4 Me” is a well thought out illustration of his past relationships and the inner battle with himself.

“The main inspiration behind this song is a pattern I’ve noticed in my past relationships. There was always this thought in the back of my head of feeling trapped.” 

Coined for his euphoric style sound, AD22 captivating sound and flow is one to keep him in the spotlight. The vulnerability he offers on this record stems from the several challenges he faces. “Bad 4 U” is a start for the Canadian artist to explore new sounds for himself. “Bad 4 Me” is an expansion to the series of singles.

This is the first time I use my vocals with a different beat and different type of music. ” Continuing to grow his catalog, AD22 is gearing up to release his debut EP introducing his story to the world. The EP is set to release this summer. His upcoming project will be, “Embracing vulnerability and providing the fans with a much more in-depth insight, the EP highlights AD22’s identity.”
