Chris Brown & Lil Baby’s ‘One Of Them Ones’ tour: Los Angeles recap

Chris Brown and Lil Baby’s ‘One Of Them Ones’ tour kicked off in Los Angeles last week and it was an eventful night to say the least. The highly-anticipated, sold-out night, was presented by Rolling Loud and took place at the Forum in Inglewood, CA. As audiences entered the stadium, they were provided with good vibes and tunes immediately upon walking in, and this is all thanks to DJ Fresh. Serving as the official DJ for the national 27-city tour disk Jockey DJ Fresh impacted millions throughout the entirety of Chris Brown and Lil Baby’s ‘One Of Them Ones’ tour — he impressed audiences with his skills nationwide as he turned up the crowd, showed off his dancing (and singing skills), and really turned into a star of the night. By the time he closed out his set, audiences were amped up to see the headlining heavy-hitters take stage.

The night opened with Yung Bleu, who performed several hits including his popular record, “You’re Mines Still” ft. Drake. He also performed hits that some of his most loyal fans knew word-for-word, such as “Ice On My Baby,” and “Miss It,” to which the audience filled in the lyrics unprompted. He also performed recent hits from his latest music including “Beautiful Lies.” He kept it minimal on stage with his solo presence, and set that simply included lights. However, this didn’t impact his performance or stage presence as audiences were still captivated by the music. By the time Bleu finished out his set, the crowd was ready for more vibes and anticipated Lil Baby up next.

Lil Baby took the stage within about 30 minutes after Bleu, and started out with his crowd-pleasers “Wants & Needs,” “We Paid,” and “My Dawg.” Audiences rose up to their feet to dance to his set.

After about an hour of Lil Baby, he left the stage and Chris Brown made a grand arrival. CB entertained the crowd for hours, touching every pocket of his fanbase and seamlessly dancing the night away. With a plethora of tracks from albums that have all been deemed certified bangers, there was truly something for everyone. Crowd favorites such as “Privacy,” “Loyal,” and “Pills & Automobiles” received roaring applause and he even dedicated a portion of his set time for his Afrobeats songs such as “Mona Lisa (Remix)” and “Call Me Everyday.”

Lastly, the most exciting part of the show towards the end of CB’s set involved allowing the audience to choose from 3 songs for the next 20 minutes that he should perform. He determined which one he should do based on crowd applause. The songs in these categories were from his older catalogue, but the classics that people had surely been hoping to hear. Songs such as “With You,” “No Air” and “Poppin” were among the songs of the night that received the most applause.

All in all, it was a great show and CB proves why he’s someone that sparks the true definition of an entertainer.
