JID releases “Money” music video off critically acclaimed album The Forever Story

Atlanta rapper JID has released the official music video for fan favorite track “Money.” Creative produced by JID and directed by Chad Tennies and Mac Grant, the video is a short that follows two brothers as they spend the day together in the city of Atlanta, GA. An ode to latchkey kids everywhere, the visual ends in a heartbreaking scene that serves as a nod back to the heart wrenching lyrics JID raps over the bright choral laden track.

The Forever Story is JID’s third studio album and his most personal project yet. Lauded as “ambitious” (Pitchfork) and one of the week’s best releases (NPR, Complex, Pitchfork, FADER and more), the album has been heralded as one of the year’s best rap albums (GQ, One37PM). Acting as a prequel, each track on the album acts as a chapter in the origin story of JID — a collegiate football athlete turned rapper. The critically acclaimed album is a 15-track project ladened with evocative storytelling and head swiveling lyricism backed against addicting beats and sample chops; executive produced by longtime collaborator, Christo. It features a slew of special guests including rap luminaries Yasiin Bey, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage and collaborators Lil Durk, EARTHGANG, Kenny Mason, Ari Lennox and many more helping to anchor the project.

YXNG K.A drops introspective new single “Face My Fears”

Philadelphia’s YXNG K.A returns with the raw, unfiltered new single “Face My Fears” via Double O / Interscope Records. The gritty track finds the young spitter flexing his considerable skill as he examines his choices as a fresh face in the rap scene. The accompanying video finds the 19-year-old hitting the boxing ring and chilling in the back of his ride. Watch it HERE

“Face My Fears” (Double O / Interscope Records) by YXNG K.A. is available at all digital retailers HERE.

Showcasing his trademark autotune vocals, “Face My Fears” finds K.A tapping into a more vulnerable songwriting style than ever before. “He was tryna flex on us but we shot down his ego, and yeah, I took some losses but I got right back on my feet though,” he raps over smooth piano chords and trap-inspired drums. “I’ve been on the road to riches, I know I’ma be there soon.” It’s clear that K.A has his eyes on the prize.

The triumphant video finds the breakout rapper preparing to spar in the boxing ring. It’s a suitable metaphor for K.A’s willingness to stand up every time he gets knocked down. When he’s not training, the MC flexes from a luxury SUV and showcases some of the flossy jewelry success has bought him.

“Face My Fears” follows the recently released “Closed Case” and K.A’s first single of the year, the deeply affecting “Not Perfect.” With his fearlessly honest approach to East Coast rap, the newcomer displays prodigy-like melodic skills and impressive range — assets that also define “Face My Fears.” As he emphasizes on the track, K.A.’s willingness to keep fighting through victories and hardships alike has him positioned for a lasting success.

Produced by the multi-Grammy Award-winning collective 1500 or Nothin’, “Let You Know” is a song relatable to those who fear falling in love: the tedious thrill, excitement, and daunting battles of wanting someone you can’t have.

Known for her infectious smile and high enthusiasm, Nakkia Gold is South Los Angeles’ most favorable rising LGBTQ+ artist. Her stellar catalog of music includes “Energy” featuring Pink Sweat$, “Sober” featuring Jeremih, “Trap Santa” featuring DDG, and “JUSTICE (Get Up, Stand Up)” featuring Wiz Khalifa, Bob Marley, and The Wailers.

As the fifth released song this year, “Let You Know” is an introspective reflection of Nakkia Gold’s true self and her unwavering, sinuous journey to finding love.

“The song rips the white sheets off the fairy tale love. We all go through problems, but it’s how we make it through that shapes us to grow and evolve,” states Nakkia Gold. “Love is an experience. It isn’t a forever thing. Just thought I’d let you know!”

From homelessness to becoming Saban Music Group’s FIRST signed R&B artist, Nakkia Gold’s fluidity, unmatched energy, and vocal delivery embodies R&B in its purest form.

Life-changing experiences, relationships, and self-preservation are some of the few topics that take center stage in Nakkia Gold’s music.
