DaniLeigh turns up in LA for last night of ‘4 Velour Tour,’ brings out Ty Dolla $ign and Dreezy

DaniLeigh brought the vibes in Los Angeles last night at The Novo. The Miami-native, LA-based artist kicked off her first major headlining 21 city tour in the U.S. September 9th, and ended it in Los Angeles October 13th with openers, music artists, Larrenwong and Jilly Anais. “4 Velour Tour” is inspired by her EP, My SideRemixd Mag was there to cover the whole thing.

DaniLeigh has been on a mission to regain momentum since the drama of her past relationship with DaBaby, and has chosen to put all that into her music. Back in May, she released her first single, “Dead to Me,” which really set the tone for what listeners could anticipate in the My Side EP. A week prior to releasing the EP, she released “Heartbreaker.”

Dripped out in a black bedazzled leather outfit, DaniLeigh opened up her set at The Novo in Los Angeles with her single, “Superstar,” off of her 2020 Movie album. She then made her way throughout the stage for just about an hour and a half singing slow ballads such as “Put U On,” and “Bullshit” for the first half of the show. DaniLeigh’s daughter, Velour, walked onto the stage and shared a special moment with the audience as she embraced her while singing, “4 Velour,”  which inspired the name of the tour.

DaniLeigh then switched gears for the second half of her set as she performed her more upbeat tempo dance songs such as “Diamonds on Me,” and “Levi High,” in which she even changed out of her heeled boots into some sneakers to be in dance mode for. As an artist who got her start in the music scene through dancing, DaniLeigh is known for her fun, playful, and sultry dances, and she really displayed that during her show.

Before wrapping up her set, DaniLeigh surprised the audience by bringing out Los Angeles’ very own, Ty Dolla $ign to perform “I Wish.” She later brought out Dreezy to perform her song “Close to You.” As the night came to a close, she then thanked her fans for coming out to support her before singing her popular “Easy” song, and closing out with her smash hit “Lil Bebe.”

DJ Dynamiq headlines BAJA BEACH FEST for a 3rd consecutive year

Before DJ Dynamiq became “El Rey Del West” (translated to the King of the West) of Latin DJs, he was working in small DJ booths at San Diego nightclubs. Since then, Hector Beltran, aka DJ Dynamiq, has become a key player within the industry, from headlining at huge festivals, including the most recent Baja Beach Fest 2022, to opening up for big-name talents such as Bad Bunny.

DJ Dynamiq, who was born in Mexicali, the capital of Baja California in Mexico, immigrated to the United States with his mother when he was six years old. His mother inspired him to always be a hustler, ingraining in the value of having a great work ethic. Since his childhood, DJ Dynamiq has proudly repped his roots through music.

Baja Beach Fest, which is now the number one Latin music and culture festival in the world, has taken place on the beautiful beaches of Rosarito, Mexico for the past four years. For DJ Dynamiq, who was born and raised in Baja California, performing at the festival is not only a career highlight but a full-circle moment for him. “It’s a blessing and something that I’m very proud of. I cherish it in my heart as one of my major accomplishments.”

DJ Dynamiq first experienced the festival in 2018 when he was brought as a guest by Bad Bunny. The following year, he was given the opportunity to DJ as a headliner and has now completed three years of officially headlining the festival. Within those three years, both DJ Dynamiq and the festival have evolved. From initially performing for a crowd of 10,000 people to now 40,000, the festival has upped its game when it comes to performances, production, and logistics to deliver a unique experience to both performers and festival-goers.

“The overall experience has grown into something amazing. You see more faces, fans, and talent from all over the world – not just reggaeton but now also regional. The artist roster has expanded beyond Mexico, Puerto Rico, and DR, and now you have artists from Argentina and Colombia representing their countries at the festival,” describes DJ Dynamiq.

As far as DJ Dynamiq’s performance goes, he was the first headliner each weekend, setting the vibe for the entire festival while playing his set. During Weekend 1, DJ Dynamiq brought out Leo Bash, a Colombian reggaeton singer. For Weekend 2, DJ Dynamiq brought out NFA to perform their collaboration single “Lotto,” and Matt Paris to perform their new and unreleased record “Discoteca.”

With the conclusion of his first residency in Las Vegas this past weekend, DJ Dynamiq is ready to release more music under his name. Later in the year, he will also be touring with Mariah Angeliq as her official tour DJ while performing at his own shows on the West Coast and starting his seventh season as the San Francisco 49er’s official DJ.

One of DJ DYnamiq’s main goals is to set the bar high for DJs, something he has successfully accomplished by being a headliner for Baja Beach Fest. He sets on the finish this year strong before going into 2023.
