Mass.Amigo isn’t letting up on his enterprising new record ‘B4 Tha Deal’

Famed Mass.Amigo, which is a homage to his hometown Massachusetts, Lynn, MA rap maverick Mass.Amigo is a man on warpath to glory.

Enterprising by design, rap almost acts as a decoy for the many hats he wears, but his ability to make solid rap songs is not a secondary feature by any degree. Mass is an entrepreneur, music man, and dabbles in film as a producer and actor.

On his maiden opus B4 THA DEAL however, Mass is on mercurial form chronicling his extravagant lifestyle on an arsenal of instrumentals. Sometimes he’s hedonistic, sometimes he’s partially pragmatic rapping about handling business, and equally just as passionate as he jots bars on a tasteful lifestyle earned before a coveted record deal, Mass is on a spree of giving motivation for the listener.

Hip Hop as a brand of music that has built a reputation of braggadocio can rest on its laurels with emcees such as Mass who can manufacture rhymes that inspire, and still pack a mean punch of fun and feel-goodism.

On B4 THA DEAL, a 47-minute run time is consistently mastered with a collection of crafted bouncy beats, a selection of trap and chill-hop sonics, acting as the perfect canvas for Mass to deliver racy and raw lyricism on.

“I just want to create a catalog of music that my fans and future fans can listen to forever. My family, my friends, and life inspire me in all aspects of my music” he tells Remixd Mag.

On “Run Up A Bag”, his catchy hooks reign and he is hustle-fueled. His diversity protrudes when he belts out the tropical and fruity Mexican-infused cut, “Going In”. In these two tracks alone, the night and day difference is stark, as he reflects his party-ready personality on “Going In”, but can still be plutocratic and game-faced on “Run Up A Bag”.

A single off B4 THA DEAL

The tape is bag-focused numbers, but it’s highlights do not dim so quick. He taps Atlanta and former QC enigma, Skippa Da Flippa on “T A K E O F F” – they revive the eerie and grungy prime Atlanta-trap sound monikered by producers such as Zaytoven, Cardo Got Wings, 808 Mafia and the expansive cast of beatsmiths that popularized a region’s sound. “T A K E O F F” sees the two take shots at Ye’s ‘White Lives Matter’ stance, share their disdain for lazy hustlers, and more.

In summary, the tape sees hefty lyricism, gritty punchlines, with steadfast enjoyment and value for listeners that prioritize substance in music. He brushes on fatherhood slightly (Takeoff), displays storytlling on “Karma – Part 1”, parades musicality with soothing riffs on “Pressure”, hence why this is a wholesome rap tape worth a peep.

And like many Hip Hop emcees, Mass continues to continue to push the needle with numerous projects within and outside music’s orbit:

“I plan on dropping two albums in 2023 one similar to B4 Tha Deal and a Spanish album. There are 2 review shows that I’m also promoting called “Ghetto Gourmet” and “Massachusetts Marijuana” where I visit local restaurants and local dispensaries.” he reveals.
“Currently, I act and co-produce films under Ching America Films so you’ll definitely find me starring in a few roles as well as co-producing. Relationship Goals 2 the movie should be out sometime in 2023 and I act as a Relationship Therapist. Stay Focused 2 is another film that should be out in 2023 in which I act as a full-time rapper. Also, we recently dropped our web series “Playing Both Sides” Season 2 Halloween night on youtube and just wrapped up the finale. Season 3 of Playing Both Sides will also be out in 2023. I currently have a boutique store in my home city called “Mass. Music T.Y.B.G” that I plan on growing and making into a global store.”

Noie J shines on new single “Dirt Road”

[Via @noie_j on Instagram]

Houston, Texas has a new star in the making! Meet Noie J, a 27-year-old artist who has been steadily growing and developing his fan base for a few years now. Like most artists, music sparked his interest at a very young age. He would spend most of his days getting into trouble, so his parents never allowed him to have a TV in his bedroom. So the young Noie J would spend his time couped up in his bedroom listening to the radio for hours, while subconsciously developing a passion for music that would change the course of his life forever. I did a little deep dive into his stacked discography and found music from all the way back in 2016 with a single titled “Houston“, which is your classic rap song and I was blown away by how much Noie J has developed over the years. Now 6 years later, his style is more modern and easily appeals to the mainstream audience.

Let’s talk about his latest single “Dirt Road” which is more pop-based, and shows just how flexible Noie J is musically. From the production to the composition, Noie J delivered an absolute hit that could be described as a club-banger. I don’t want to use the term “electronic music” but I could imagine this song being remixed at EDC, or in a nightclub atmosphere. Since it was released on November 25th, the song has already surpassed 14,000 streams on Spotify and is gaining more and more momentum every day. Noie J’s potential is limitless, and this is truly just the start for him. I’ll attach links to the song below, so make sure you check it out and follow him on social media! Also, let us know do you think Noie J is Houston’s next superstar? I believe so.
