Fast rising Bay Area royalty Eternal Zion opens up on her upcoming January album

Following a relatively quiet spell in her standards this year, Eternal Zion is preparing to open up the new year in style. Having laid low on sharing a full body of work since mid last year when she spawned Trials and Tribulations, she is shifting the momentum with a project staked for the top of the new year.

If Trials and Tribulations was by any measure a yard stick to gauge, she is looking to evolve her sound into another stratosphere. T&T was indie-rock hinged, melodically appealing and sprawled with some knocking trap beats. EZ took on a more confident stride in her vocal stretches, with cuts like “Distractions” mastering her rapping edge daringly.

But it isn’t just the performing aspect part of her ranging pedigree, she also dabbles as a sound engineer who infuses different frequencies into her music slated to raise higher vibrations through sound and music.

“My sound is very dynamic as far as vocal intensity. I dive into multiple genres and bring out a more alternative sound to it. I also talk about a multitude of topics from spirituality to relationships” she mentions.

Leaning more into an R&B forward sound for her latest project, EZ (pronounced as easy), teased her buttery, soulful and tender number, “You Just Want Love” to entice fans before the January LP. The July single feels emanated from her January-promised album titled, True Colors. Even so, she admits elements of rock are still likely to stand out on the experimental record.

“The current project I am working on is titled True Colors. This project was inspired by my admiration of alternative rock music. I wanted to create an album that people could really relate to. There are songs that bring attention to certain issues like depression, suicide, and relationships” she concedes.

She reveals she wants to talk about topics stigmatized such as mental health and depression. EZ realizes her platform of almost half a million followers across social media can use some positiveity.

“This project is about one’s expression as their true self. Meaning there are thoughts that many of us are afraid to share due to the opinions of others. I thought it would be good to create music that people can relate to when they can’t fully express those feelings. I want people to know they are not alone. That’s what True Colors is all about.”

Having forged a name for herself in the Bay Area as a hometown hero, performing in multiple stages that are idyllic to the Bay, it’s time for EZ to take 2023 by storm with her latest album coming at the top of the year.

Central Cee isn’t looking to “Let Go” of his sweetheart

Central Cee

Central Cee‘s sweet revenge comes in the form of a big flex via “Let Go.”

Spitting transparent bars over a drill-based beat that samples Passenger‘s “Let Her Go,” the UK artist explains why he decided to part ways with a woman who “make me question love.” Although Central Cee is making strides, he can’t help but to want that old thing back

Using his cutting-edge flow, the rapper spits

I loved you until you try to get in my head/And that’s why I lost respect/You’re doin’ the most to get my attention, baby, I’m not impressed, uh/I changed my bedsheets, but I still smell your flesh/I don’t know how we got in this mess.”

As the song continues, Central Cee continues his pursuit to rekindle the flame of romance that has long since been extinguished. He reminds her why their love makes the most sense.

Tell me what you need, I’ll provide everythin’/Baby, you don’t know what you’re missin’/Our chemistry felt like quantum physics, physics,” he raps.

Although he’s selling out arenas across the board, Central Cee looks for her throughout the crowds. Still, he must face the music. His amor has decided to move on.

You made me delete that pic off my phone/But I close my eyes, still see that image,” he admits.

To get over her, he goes the distance with other love interests. However, he can’t deny that this lady is his home.

And I don’t even know why I did it, as soon as I’m finished, I’m gettin’ them dropped off/And what makes it worse, I know that she’s tellin’ her friends that I chopped her,” he delivers.

Elsewhere, Central Cee spits

If you won’t give me your love for free, I’ll buy it, just tell me how much it’ll cost me.”

In “Let Go,” the No More Leaks musician also boasts about being more well-off than his ex’s current boyfriend.

He claps back with the rhymes, saying, “Your new man ain’t got nothin’ on me/F-ck your annual wage, I can make that monthly, huh, alright.”

In closing, “LET GO” affirms that the heart simply wants what it wants.
