Ginga Soul is back with a new single, “Karmic,” after taking a year-long hiatus following the release of her debut EP “On My Mind” in 2021. The song delves into Ginga’s recent romantic experience, where she recognizes similarities between her past and present partners. She chooses to take responsibility for breaking the cycle and avoiding falling for the same type of person repeatedly. “I was noticing a connection in how the ones I gave chances to, how they treated me in the beginning versus how they did me in the end.” Ginga says.
Ginga Soul (@gingasoul) drew inspiration from the 90s and early 2000s era of R&B, specifically aiming for an Aaliyah, Brandy, and Erykah Badu vibe. To achieve this, she collaborated with A’Sean, a rapper from Kansas City, Missouri. The song’s nostalgic feel is credited to Ginga and her friend Tash, who wrote the lyrics. The hook came naturally to Ginga, while the verses took a few days of brainstorming with Tash. The beat for “Karmic” was produced by Isaiah Zuriel, a producer Ginga discovered through social media.
Overall, “Karmic” is a nod to the classic R&B sound that Ginga Soul admires, but with a contemporary twist.
South Carolina’s 92Byu just released a music video for his relaxed and introspective single “Love Me or Not” which arrives as one of a three-part series.
92Byu is known for his potent storytelling raps where fans get to learn about the rapper with each listen.
On March 15, the rapper released “Love Me or Not”, a single that walks audiences into his mind and his thoughts on love.
The single opens up with a laidback instrumental and 92Byu speaking his mind. The record eventually drops into a subtle drum pattern where the rapper begins a reflection on past decisions and moments. He goes on to rap about all aspects of love: romantically, financially, friendship, and more.
92Byu describes the single as a relaxed yet, soulful and heartfelt record. He went on to say “It’s a spiritual, mental, and emotional exercise of how to feel about yourself in a relaxation state. The act of being at ease and at peace with yourself in this world regardless of who loves you or not.”
The music video, directed by Sayan Ang and 92Byu, shows scenes of the rapper reciting the song from a couch, hanging out with friends, and behind the scenes of another music video.
This video serves as one of three chapters apart of the rapper’s short, musical autobiography which has been written, performed, and directed all by himself.
We asked 92Byu what he wants listeners to take away from the single and he stated “I want people to know that no matter of the love and support received, given, or welcomed, your success is always up to you. When you start something, see through to the finish line despite trials and tribulations. Remember who started it & see it through. This record is personal and dear to my heart.”

As for the latest single, Tony Stone’s distinguished vocal hits when the beat drops, softly comforting his love interest, “when the world don’t make you smile girl you can always cry on my shoulder.”
The 12-track LP will feature a range of hip-hop & R&B stars, including Kaytranada, Mick Jenkins, Kojey Radical, Saba, Venna & Topaz Jones. The project touches on various themes, from fame to relationships, once again narrating the experience of Tony Stone, as he traverses through the hectic & hedonistic life of a rising rap star.

We asked about Reef WYA?’s passion and he shared “I just love to create. Whether it be making beats, editing videos, writing, or recording. Music has taught me that other people feel the same shit as you, it could be good or bad. It just makes you think in a different way, a different perspective.”
Reef WYA? just introduced his latest firey single which arrived alongside an icy music video.
“COBAIN” is a bouncy trap record with hints of drill in the production. Using heavily processed vocals he glides across the instrumental effortlessly while introducing audiences to a creative smooth sound.
The music video follows the rapper to snowy mountains where he performs the single and gives audiences an eye-catching view of his city.
“COBAIN” gives fans an introduction to his forthcoming project WHERE ART THOU?
“I’ve solidified myself as a producer and DJ in the Denver scene, but I have a lot more in my bag,” Reef WYA says. “I’m not only an artist, IM A WAVY ONE. This project is going to show a lot of different sides to both me and my music. The whole project is written, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by me. A jack of all trades.”

“We all go through phases in life whether it be a habit, a hobby, a person, emotions etc,” he says. “As my first solo tape, I’m being hella honest and vulnerable to give my fans a deeper insight into me. Maybe they share some of the same phases and feelings.”
The project is set to drop on April 28th with a follow-up single arriving on April 14th.
