$upremejaee (real name Jalen Gayles) is an artist from Newport News, Virginia, who’s now based in Seattle, Washington. With a sound that can be described as upbeat, yet mellow, $upremejaee is undoubtedly talented and this will take him to the top. As a rising artist in the game, he insists on staying different instead of following the hype.

“To describe my sound I would say it’s not what everybody is into now,” he says. “I try to stay with the mellow flow instead of the hype.”

When asked about one reason he’s passionate about music, $upremejaee shared that he wants to inspire and uplift people.

“I’m passionate because music is so relatable & I want people to hear what I have to say,” he said. “That can help them push through whatever they’re going through, because it’s not only them in this fight! I get inspired by seeing mainstream artist do as they please without having to worry about someone always on their back. I would like to have it that way for my family … not having to worry about a thing.”

His current single, “Lifestyle” is one of his most versatile releases thus far, and was a single inspired by people trying to fit into a certain lifestyle. He encourages the message of making sacrifices in order to get to where you’re trying to go, but having to give up things along the way in order to achieve it.

The artist is on a mission to the top. And with his preservation and talent combined, he will surely prevail.

“I hope my fans can quote my lyrics and say that they feel exactly what the music is saying
everything is relatable,” he continued.

Chicago’s first girl group CRUSH is getting ready to takeover the city

There’s a new girl group in town! They go by the name CRUSH, and are from the city of Chicago, Illinois. The group is composed of five members: Kee Glo, Asavv, MÜSË, Shiy, and Skye. They are getting ready to make the world have a “crush” on them soon as they gear up to release their upcoming song.

“Our sound is fun, trendy and vibe to listen to,” the group told RemixdMag. “Our music sound gives pop, rap, drill, and R&B etc. We love to create relatable music for the people. Whether you’re getting ready to go to brunch, heading to work, or you’re about to hit the club with your friends. We want you to CRUSH playing loud in your speakers rapping and singing word by word. We want you to feel like you’re a boss that lost it all and got it right back. We want our listeners to feel like they’re “that girl” or “that boy” while hearing us.”

CRUSH is an acronym that stands for each of the girls’ names, or “flavors.”
Ke Glo — Cherry, A$avv — Raspberry, MÜSË — Utopia, Shiy — Strawberry, and Skye — Honey.

As they’re gearing up to release their debut single, they want audiences to know they’re coming with the heat. The upcoming song, called “Rep Yo Set” is set to drop on April 14.

“The song is all about repping where you from and what you stand for,” they said. “It’s all about the people in different cities, hoods, and cultures standing up for them, their people, and beliefs.”

The anticipation is high for their very first single. With each girl having different musical influences, ranging from artists such as Keke Sheared, Nicki Minaj, Kodak Black, Lil Kim, Latto, G Herbo, and Juice WRLD — the sounds of this upcoming release will be diverse. And Serving as Chicago’s first girl group, the bar will be set as far as what audiences can expect.

“The project is full of flavor,” CRUSH teased. “It shows versatility from 5 different girls from different walks of life but who share the same dream and struggles.”

“Through our music, we hope our fans take away the concept of never giving up on their dreams, standing up for yourself and the people around you,” they shared. “Never stop believing in themselves, and always chase after what they want. It was so many times we could have given up but God pushed us through and we’re now in this amazing position we’re in today.”

Oakland artist JAMC is gaining new “Motion” with listeners

Rising artist JAMC dropped off his new single “Motion” and it’s a smooth song that is catchy and melodic.

“Don’t know which way to go, don’t know which move to make,” JAMC sings on the track. Throughout the song, he expresses himself through feelings, emotions, and ultimately connects with listeners through personal experiences.

“I use to sing in the church choir as a kid growing up, and as I got older I got more interested in wanting to sing. I can rap also,” JAMC told Remixd Mag.

The song is a great display of JAMC’s talents, and is a reason to tap into what he has coming next. When asked about the message that he hopes fans take away from his music, JAMC responded:

“Never be afraid to express yourself, your feelings or emotions get em out,” he said.

CEAZERR is an artist on the rise

Ceazerr, from Aukland New Zealand, wants audiences to know he’s next up. Getting his artist name ‘Ceazerr‘ from his uncle, who inspired him to make music, has a sound that can be described as old-school mixed with new school. Combined with sleek flows and a melodic delivery, this up and coming artist puts a modern-day twist on everything he puts out.

The passion in why he makes music comes from always wanting to be creative and wanting to do something new.

“My inspiration really is the whole team,” Ceazerr says. “All my dawgs that come out to the shows with me come to the videos and the studio all my boys that i keep round, my girl of course my family and everyone else that wants to see me win and pushes me in the right direction.”

Artists that have an impact on his music/sound he says come from the greats.

“Jay-Z, Cam’Ron & Jack Harlow,” Ceazerr mentions. “Lil Babys been going crazy even like Skepta,Dave & Nippa is crazy too.”

Regarding his latest release, “YURR,” with another artist Larzoh, the track is a party anthem and something that is high-energy and fun.

“The inspiration behind the song was really something for people to party too and specifically to perform at a show we had coming up, we wanted something new and fresh to take to the stage and made this song about a week before that show,” he said.

The two just had a chance to perform it live, and the reaction has been great so far.

As far as what’s next for Ceazerr, he says that he’s working on two different projects right now, both set to drop this year. Audiences can be on the lookout for ‘Star Alliance’ and ‘50450’ both projects that Ceazerr says he hopes inspires listeners.
