Recording artist Jay-Way (@jaywaythealien) released a fresh remix of his track “Running Out of Love,” featuring Marc E. Bassy. The remix dropped on June 2nd and is now available on all streaming platforms. The song captures the emotions and challenges of a troubled relationship, as the singer tries to salvage the connection despite knowing it’s slipping away. The original version of “Running Out of Love” made its debut in March at the SXSW Conference in Austin, Texas, where Jay-Way performed it across nine different showcases.
For the remix, Jay-Way, who is based in Amsterdam, collaborated with San Francisco Bay Area singer/songwriter Marc E. Bassy. Bassy also holds co-writing credits on the single along with Jay-Way, Ty Brasel, and track producer Sajan Nauriyal. The remix builds upon the diverse sonic elements of the original, fusing hip-hop, rock, and pop to create a unique sound that exemplifies Jay-Way’s innovative approach to music.
Fans can also look forward to an official music video for “Running Out of Love (feat. Marc E. Bassy)” premiering on June 9th at 10 a.m. CT. The video was filmed at a house outside of Nashville and was directed and produced by Mike Folabi, known for his work on Jay-Way’s previous videos for “Ice Cold” and “Shawty Goodnight.”
In addition to his music career, Jay-Way is also recognized as a brand ambassador for PUMA and Dr. Martens. He recently signed as a model under APL Models Worldwide, further expanding his creative endeavors. Jay-Way’s success has also led to him being selected as an opening act for RINI’s “Past The Naked Eye Tour” during its European leg, where he performed to sold-out crowds.
