Most Memphis artists share the same “slow-aggressive” rap flow, so I appreciate that Karuso’s music is on a completely different wavelength. Every artist swears they don’t sound like anyone else, but that’s really the case here, as his sound is a mixture of melodic rap and hardcore rap. Even though he cites Travis Scott & A$AP Rocky as his primary influences, it’s not even noticeable, as he has crafted his own unique sound.
If there’s any song that’ll turn you into a believer it has to be his electrifying single, “Can’t Get Enough”. I’ve waited all year for a song with substance, and this one was executed perfectly. It’s the right balance of high energy and bars, resulting in a song that’s bound to shatter your expectations.

The accompanying music video for “Can’t Get Enough” expands on Karuso’s hazed point of view. Directed by RSEVN, his dark and mysterious visuals serve the purpose of showing viewers a different side of Memphis. More importantly, through the use of effective storytelling in the video, we get a deeper understanding of Karuso’s psyche and how he came to be.
My patience is thin for music that plays it safe, which is why I enjoy listening to “Can’t Get Enough” so much. I’m hoping to see where he takes his experimental sound next.
