Cardi B – “Bongos (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)”
Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion expand on their sex escapades in their new reggaeton-centered cut, “Bongos.” Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion deliver a line of confident rhymes that focus on their greatest assets, charm, bedroom activities, and more. The 30-year-old rhymer even delivers some Spanish bars. Cardi B first teased “Bongos” on Sept. 5. The song is accompanied by a tropical-themed music video. One notable line goes, “I’m so sexy, I could Met Gala in a robe (Robe)/I could body every look and I could body every pose (Yes)/Neck full of diamonds, yeah, I’m forever froze.”
Busta Rhymes – “LUXURY LIFE (feat. Coi Leray)”
Busta Rhymes raps over a sample of Foxy Brown‘s “Ain’t No N***a” in his newest offering “LUXURY LIFE (feat. Coi Leray). The song finds Busta Rhymes and Coi Leray using a storytelling cadence to speak about their love for one another. Similarly, Busta Rhymes uses his pocket of rhymes to look out for Coi’s wellbeing. The chorus encourages people to live their best life. “Pop another bottle, pour a couple of shots/’Cause we gon’ spend whatever/Luxury life, we livin’ over the top/No one can do it better,” they both rap.
Akintoye – “F**k’ Em Up Moses”
Akintoye’s latest single, “F**k’ Em Up Moses,” commands the attention of hip-hop lovers worldwide. In the heavy bass trap cut, the rapper speaks about lyrically annihilating his peers. Akintoye drops a substantial amount of tough talk toward his haters as well. “F**k’ Em Up Moses” also finds the Toronto-based rhymer reflecting on his progression within the music industry. Throughout the single, Akintoye uses an animated cadence. In 2022, Akintoye was recognized as a Black TikTok Trailblazer. He’s been taking off also since dropping “Pizzazz.” The song has been streamed more than 10 million times.
Classified – “People”
Classified seeks to bring the human race together in his newest single, “People.” The beat samples a classic R&B song and merges in a piano chord, impressive 808s, and mellow trap elements. Lyrically, the award-winning MC speaks about not liking individuals based on their attributes, views, or beliefs. Classified is only concerned with people uniting to make a positive change in the world. “How come we dwell on irrelevant detail?” he raps. “We’re fussing and fighting over differences/Don’t make a difference if you fail then we fail/Doesn’t matter the color your skin is/Doesn’t matter your age or your sex or religion.” The single is the first release in a new partnership between Classified’s HalfLife Records and Big Story Entertainment.
Eli Fross – “Bonnie & Clyde”
Eli Fross says he wants to provide his shawty with the finer things in life via “Bonnie & Clyde.” In the lo-fi-driven trap cut, the New York rapper reveals why he likes the lady he’s speaking about and what life would be like if she were to make things official. “I take her out and give her d**k and the go cool in it,” Eli Fross raps. “She on my side no matter what, don’t care ’bout who did it/She like me all up in her guts like she got food in it/And I’m just saying little mama, show you what I’m on.”
