Travis Scott speaks on his feelings regarding the Astroworld tragedy

Travis Scott is still hurting following the tragedy of Astroworld.

The last two years for Travis Scott have been a bit much. Out of all the things the Houston rapper faced, one would say Astroworld was a lot to process. During the outrage of the festivities, reports state that 10 people died and several others were injured. Following the incident, Travis Scott was faced with several number of lawsuits, as well as being investigated criminally. Fast forward to today, the rapper is currently waiting for civil court to begin.

Travis shares his feelings regarding the 2021 tragedy.

During a recent interview with GQ Magazine, Scott went into detail regarding his feelings towards the tragedy. Travis went into detail expressing his empathy for the families that were affected by the incident. “I always think about it. Those fans were like my family. You know. I love my fans to the utmost. You just feel for those people. And those families.” Travis explains. The rapper is deeply hurt by the thought of the tragedy.

On the album Utopia, Travis has a single called “My Eyes,” and on the track he goes into a little bit of detail regarding his feelings around Astroworld. The inspiration behind the song, he says, is to let them know he is hurting too. “I have concerns, things that I think about, and the things I see on a day-to-day basis. I think about them and every day I want to find change in the things to make them better. Make myself better. It is just like I go through things like everyone else. And even recently I went through something I could never imagine.”

In the end, the tragedy is something that will live on in for a while. But as Travis waits for the civil court date, it is good to the families are one step closer to getting closure.

Atlanta rap pioneer André 3000 is making his official return to music. On Tuesday, Andrè made the surprise announcement during an interview with NPR. Andrè’s new album New Blue Sun is set to be released on November 17th, this Friday! Significantly, this is André’s first full length solo album.

André is full of surprises 

Although André’s return settles almost two decades of anticipation anticipation, this album comes with a twist. During the interview with NPR, he revealed the project will not include lyrics, instrumentals, or anything vocal. Andre will be substituting his lyrical ability with flutes on this 8 song project. He also noted his knowledge of what fans expected from his debut. “In my mind, I really would like to make a rap album. So maybe that happens one day, but I got to find a way to say what I want to say in an interesting way that’s appealing to me at this age,” André said. He also revealed his hesitation about the perception of the album to a new audience. Additionally, he shared the album with Frank Ocean and Tyler The Creator for their opinions.

André’s last album 

Moreover, it has been 17 years since André’s last project. Significantly, the project was with his former group member,Big Boi, prior to the disbanding of their group, OutKast’s last full length album was Speakerboxxx/The Love Below in 2003. This project produced singles such as “Hey Ya!,” “The Way You Move,” and “Roses.” This past October, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below became the best selling rap album of all time. The album is now 13x platinum.

Furthermore, André 3000’s latest offering is seemingly nothing short of his creativity.
