The Compton rapper took to Instagram to announce the upcoming project. In the post, Roddy Ricch is seen wearing a suit seemingly signaling he means business. In fact, he began teasing the project earlier this week with a post captioned “2024 is personal not business -.”Keeping it simple, he shared the official announcement of the album on his Instagram story (@roddyricch)

Earlier today, (May 30), He announced his new single “Survivor’s Remorse.” He posted the single’s cover art with he caption “surviors remorse at midnight —.“ Fans began to express their excitement for the upcoming single and project almost immediately. Roddy’s success catapulted in 2019 with the release of his album “Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial.” This project includes singles such as “High Fashion” featuring Dj Mustard, “Bacc Seat” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, and most notably “The Box.” Additionally, the project includes features from artists such a Gunna, Lil Durk, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and more. Since then, fans have longed for Roddy to make a strong return back to music.

Usher to be the recipient of Bet’s Lifetime Achievement Award

Usher has had quite the year this year. Earlier today, BET announced he is the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. With a career spanning three decades, BET has chosen to give him the nights highest honor. Additionally, the network took to Instagram (@Bet) to announce this award one month prior to the airing of the award show.

The post is captioned “We got a confession. —U-S-H-E-R is this year’s LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT HONOREE at the #BETAwards! We’ve watched this icon give us LEGENDARY moments on our stage. Now it’s time for us to return the favor and give him his flowers at #CulturesBiggestNight!” Additionally, they asked fans to comment an Usher song they can’t live without.

Futhermore, Usher has responded to BET’s announcement with an Instagram post of his own. “30 years of U and I…My Day 1s! Thank U @bet for honoring me with the Lifetime Achievement Award and a tribute performance —See U at the #BETAwards —,“ he said. This award was previously given to artists such as Prince, Busta Rhymes, Diddy, Whitney Huston, Smokey Robinson, New Editon, and many more artists.

Usher responds to his upcoming honor

That same weekend, he released his ninth studio album “Coming Home” the album features artists such as Latto, Burna Boy, The-Dream, Pheelz, Jung Kook, 21 Savage, Summer Waker, and H.E.R. During an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast “Club Shay Shay” that this album is his first album as a solo artist. Earlier this year, Usher also released a miniature documentary in collaboration with Apple. The documentary details the behind the scenes making of his Super Bowl halftime performance. Additionally, the documentary is fully filmed on an Iphone 15.

Moreover, Usher will be heading on the road later this year. His “Past Present Future” tour is set to kick off this coming August in Atlanta, Georgia. Sean “Diddy”Combs’ legal team responds to shocking new allegations made in Rolling Stone

Diddy has remained in the headlines within the past several months. Earlier this week, Rolling Stone published an article with a host of new allegations against him from over the years. The list of allegations goes back to as far as his college years at Howard University. Additionally, the new host of allegations stem throughout the course of his career as a Hip-Hop mogul. Following the release of the article, his lawyer, Jonathan Davis, has responded to the new list of allegations made against him.

“Mr. Combs cannot comment on settled litigation, will not comment on pending litigation, and cannot address every allegation picked up by the press from any source, no matter how unreliable,” Jonathan Davis stated.“We are aware that the proper authorities are conducting a thorough investigation and therefore have confidence any important issues will be addressed in the proper forum, where the rules distinguish facts from fiction,” He added.

Diddy reflects on “Dark” past

Furthermore, the article published by Rolling Stone highlights more stories from alleged victims of Diddy’s past in which he has called “Dark.” The information in the article was conducted over a six month span by investigative journalists Cheyenne Roundtree and Nancy Dillon. During the several month span, Rolling Stone reached out to over 300 people for interviews about their experiences with him. However, more than 50 responded for the article. The article also supports the lawsuit filed by Cassie this past November detailing accounts of abuse. Earlier this month, CNN shared footage of one of the encounters mentioned in her lawsuit showing Cassie being physically attacked by him. Earlier this month, he responded to the footage via Instagram with an apology video. “I was f—ed up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable,” he said.
