Furthermore, Talento’s journey began amidst the backdrop of his beloved city. This is where he found solace and purpose in painting from a tender age of nine. In addition, he was inspired by his Puerto Rican heritage and the legendary humanitarian Roberto Clemente. Talento infuses his work with a rich tapestry of cultural motifs and personal narratives. His upcoming project, “Futuro,” slated to debut at the Puerto Rican Festival in Aurora on July 28th, pays homage to his roots, depicting cherished family moments amidst the picturesque landscapes of Yabucoa, Puerto Rico.
When asked about his main influences, he responded with a few people who inspired him. “My main influence is Roberto Clemente,” he said. “I have read his book & learn his life about baseball community & with in the community how he help how to create opportunities by using his platform as a humanitarian.”

“Painting tells a story my grandmother is cooking plantain bananas,” he says. “While I’m watching her, while I am holding my baseball bat in the beautiful mountains in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. This painting reminds me where I come from in my family bloodline to keep the future bloodline alive.”
