Serena Williams jokes about Drake while dancing to “Not Like Us” at the 2024 Espy Awards

Serena Williams has an wide range of skill set outside of her iconic former tennis career. On Thursday, she hosted this year’s Espy’s where she made the audience laugh numerous times. During the show’s opening monologue, she chimed in on the rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Hilariously, she praised Kendrick Lamar’s successful run through out the beef.

“And if I’ve learned anything this year, it’s that none of us—not a single one of us, not even me—should ever pick a fight with Kendrick Lamar,” She said. Just seconds later, “Not Like Us” began to play as she started dancing to the track.“He will make your hometown not like you,” she said. “The next time Drake sits courtside at a Raptors game, they’re gonna Forrest Gump him,” she added. Furthermore, Serena’s jokes come as no surprise yet are slightly unexpected simultaneously.
