As we enter the last month of the year, Remixd Magazine returns with our weekly roundup of the best new music from this week. Starting out strong, This month is already loaded with some of the hottest music form the year. This week, you can expect music from Smino, NBA Youngboy, Rich Amiri, G.T., and tons more. Furthermore, you can read below to discover this week’s roundup of the best new music.

New Music Friday Picks

Smino-‘Maybe In Nirvana’ (Album)

Kicking things off, Smino shares his fourth studio album, Maybe In Nirvana. The project comes two years after his critically acclaimed 2022 album Luv 4 Rent. Smino returns delivering 10 singles throughout the surprise release. Additionally, Smino recruits features from artists such as Ravyn Lenae, Thundercat, and Bun B among others. This album is courtesy of his independent label, Zero Fatigue.

Rich Amiri-‘War Ready’- (Album)

Boston’s own Rich Amiri is ready for combat with his new album War Ready. The 18 song full length project serves as his sophmore release. Keeping it simple, Rich Amiri teams up with OsamaSon as the only feature on the singles “Im With It” and “Amiri Trendsetter.” For this release, the 2024 XXL Freshman Class inductee shares a music video for the single “Im Gone.”

NBA YoungBoy- ‘I Just Got A Lot On My Shoulder’ (Album)

As one of the most consistent rappers in the game, NBA Youngboy shares his latest offerings I Just Got A Lot On My Shoulders. This project comes a year after his Decided 2 project which was as one of 4 projects he released in the year. This project is also his first release since his recent incarceration earlier this year. For this release, YoungBoy shares 16 singles including a bonus track called “Tears of War.”

G.T.- ‘Great Timing’ (EP)

Detroit’s own, G.T unleashes his latest EP, Great Timing. The Money Counter Music front man delivers 7 song EP includes previous released singles “Get Em Back” and “Prayed For It.” Additionally, features include Landstrip Chip and Streetlord Juan.

Kenny Muney- ‘The Blue Seasons Super Deluxe’ (Album)

Kenny Muney releasesThe Blue Seasons Super Deluxe. The Memphis native delivers 12 additional singles expanding his previous work The Blue Seasons. The project contains features from Key Glock, Big Moochie Grape, Tay Keith, BEO Lil Kenny, and more. Throughout the project, Kenny reflects on his personal growth throughout his artistry.

Lil Tjay- ‘Farewell’ (EP)

Lil Tjay shares his closing remarks with his Farewell EP. The surprise release includes eight new singles. Although the project holds a shorter length, it is loaded with features from artists such as Polo G, NLE Choppa, G Herbo, and Rich The Kid. Moreover, this project is home to the previously released single “Let It Go Baby.”

Lil Baby- “Touchdown”

Lil Baby makes a brief return with his latest high tempo victory anthem, “Touchdown.” The single comes less than a month after his double single releases for “5AM” and Insecurities. Additionally, Lil baby’s “Touchdown” arrives days before his upcoming “Lil Baby and Friends” concert at State Farm Arena. Keeping the theme going, Lil Baby shares a football inspired music video where he calls all plays as a quarterback.

Roddy Ricch Featuring Terrence Martin- “Lonely Road”

Roddy Ricch teams up with Terrence Martin for melodic whirlwind “Lonely Road.” The relatable anthem takes listeners into Roddy seemingly wrestling with decision making. He touches on themes of faith, street life, and family. Furthermore, this single serves as Roddy’s second single from his upcoming album, The Navy Album which is set to be released February 2025.

Bossman Dlow featuring NoCap- “What You Need”

Ahead of his upcoming album, Dlow Curry, Bossman Dlow shares an additional single, “What You Need.” This single features NoCap who delivers a seamless match of flow to Bossman’s contagious yet catchy flow. Additionally, you can catch the dynamic duo in the single’s music video.

Quavo with Teddy Swims & Luke Bryan- Georgia Ways

Quavo brews up an ode to his southern roots with the single “Georgia Ways.” He joins forces with alternative singer, Teddy Swims and Country musician, Luke Bryan. Moreover, the three Georgia natives deliver their signature sounds on the gene bending southern anthem.
