Social media reacts to new Latto and Playboi Carti collab track “Blick Sum”

Despite being one of the most prominent female rappers in the game, Latto often doesn’t receive the recognition she deserves. However, less than a year after its release, her track “Blick Sum” is now experiencing a resurgence, thanks to a remix featuring Playboi Carti. Originally featured on Latto’s third studio album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea, the song gets an ‘old-school’ remix treatment with a new verse and an accompanying video. While their collaboration may seem unexpected, their shared Atlanta roots add depth to the pairing.

This remix marks the first time the two artists have worked together, bringing their distinct styles together for a high-energy collaboration.

In fact, from the few people who did have something to positive to say, it was in regards to complimenting Latto’s physical features. This alone showed me that our youth has a lot of of maturing to do.
