Luck is officially done—with you, your excuses, and anything less than she deserves.
The rising alt-R&B songstress returns with her bold new single, “Done With You” featuring Phabo. The song is an empowering anthem rooted in self-worth and personal growth. In an interview with Remixd Magazine, Luck (@iamluck) opens up about the track’s origin, sharing that it was born from a pivotal season of transformation.
Thus, she was “done” with settling for a life that she didn’t want.
“I wrote this song 5 years ago,” Luck explains. “During a time when I was at the beginning of an awakening of self and journeying to wholeness.”
She continued to explain that her music offers a perspective that comes from searching within.
“My music is about self empowerment, self improvement, and celebrating yourself,” Luck continues. “And offering a perspective that leans into looking within instead of outside validation. I didn’t always have this perception, and I didn’t always believe what God believed about me. There have been many times when I fell short of my godly design.”
The song “Done With You,” became an anthem of personal growth, as she realized she needed to break free from decisions that kept her in situations lower than her worth.
To bring this deeply personal track to life, she recruited Phabo, an artist whose writing sensibility and vocal texture perfectly matched her vision. It’s clear that this song, and her entire musical journey, is an invitation for listeners to look within for validation rather than relying on outside sources.
Ultimately, her hope is that listeners will connect with her music on a personal level, finding pieces of themselves in every song.
“When people listen to my music, they can expect a trip of genres,” Luck says. “And expect to find a piece of themselves in every song. I hope that the honesty in the music will allow them to know that they’re not alone.”
Luck’s music is an invitation to look inward and embrace healing. And for anyone on that path, Luck is right there with you.
Stream “Done With You” below, and let Luck’s voice remind you that transformation starts within.
Following a standout performance on A COLORS SHOW, Maryland’s own triple threat—rapper, producer, and songwriter Joony—continues his rise with the official release of his latest single, “Dopa(MINE).” The sultry track builds on the momentum of JRNY, his collaborative five-track EP with Jordan Ward.
In addition, Joony has a big weekend coming up. He’s set to perform next Saturday, April 12, at GV Black’s Party In My Living Room space at Coachella. That’s right, Joony is bringing his brand of R&B to the desert. His upcoming performance will echo the vulnerability at the heart of “Dopa(MINE),” according to a press release.
“‘Dopa(MINE)’ is a record of self-reflection, and admitting to yourself that you don’t feel whole without your other half—or your vice,” Joony shares with Remixd Magazine. “It’s written from the perspective of that other half asking if you feel whole without them. The question is meant to make you think deeply about the relationship you have with your vices and determine whether or not it’s a healthy one.”
Joony and his COLORS performance
The single’s visualizer offers a cinematic window into that emotional tug-of-war. Shot on Super 8 film, the video follows Joony leaning on an old-school pickup truck before wandering alone into the woods. The nature-forward, nostalgic aesthetic echoes the track’s introspective tone, drawing fans deeper into his world.
Joony’s ascent in the R&B space has been swift and impactful. With collaborations alongside Brent Faiyaz and Blxst, he’s carried the DMV’s sonic legacy to new heights. He also recently supported Blxst on the I’ll Always Come Find You tour alongside Leon Thomas and Joyce Wrice. Thus, often performing to packed crowds who showed up early to sing along.
With “Dopa(MINE)” now officially out and his COLORS performance gaining steam online, Joony continues carving a path that feels both timeless and undeniably his own.
Autumn Paige (@theautumnpaige) just shared her new EP called Down The Rabbit Hole. She invites listeners into her world, channeling raw emotion as she reflects on love, lust, loyalty, and self-worth. Effortlessly blending stripped-down R&B, chill vibes, and even country influences, the singer-songwriter showcases her vocal versatility across the project’s vibrant production. The standout quality of Down The Rabbit Hole is its relatability. Autumn Paige set out to create a project that listeners could see themselves in, and she succeeded.
Through a collection of songs that reassure others they’re not alone in their emotions or thoughts, she offers fans a sonic space for comfort and understanding. Since love, loss, confusion, and growth are inevitable, she reminds listeners that there’s always a silver lining. If the EP helps someone with self-reflection or navigate through their own emotions, she says it has served its purpose.
Although most artists tend to follow a set plan with deadlines for their albums, Down The Rabbit Hole came together naturally without a strict timeline. Autumn Paige and producer Emile took their time, recording two to three songs per session. In the end, the songs came together perfectly and conveyed what the singer was trying to get across to her listeners, creating a deeply personal story.
The first single, “Topless,” is about only feeling connected to a lover when she’s naked. Set against the backdrop of an acoustic guitar, the lyrics at hand explore the differences between lust and love. She sings, “He should be touching where my heart is.”
“Topless” calls out men who only thirst after her. Moreso she emphasizes her desire for a partner who values her beyond her physical appearance. “He only wants me when I’m topless,” she croons, making it clear that real love should be more than skin deep. The second song “Baggage” finds the artist reflecting on a previous relationship that severed her trust. The betrayal from her former flame has prevented the singer from giving her all in relationships.
Songs such “Baggage” and “Rotation” break away from the current TikTok-driven sound. Moreover, it embraces an old-school feel that values the pure essence of music instead of clout. The aforementioned record “Rotation” seemingly samples Lucky Daye‘s “Extra” but at a slower rhythm, creating a sultry, atmospheric mood. The track is all about dating without commitment and embracing situationships. Lyrics like “I keep Tuesday open for you ‘cause Wednesday he be with me,” make it clear that attachment isn’t on the table, as she reminds her love interests, “Just ’cause we be f***ing/Doesn’t mean that we got something.” The song’s theme shows men that women can play the field as well.
“Good In Me” also stands out as a particularly bold choice on the project. Blending elements of country, rock, and pop, the song champions Autumn Paige’s versatility. From a lyrical standpoint, the song talks about loving someone despite their flaws. Despite other people’s opinions about her partner, she commits to standing by them through thick and thin. Lyrics like “I don’t care if he breaks my heart today, the good in me is gonna love him anyway,” take the narrative home.
Other mellow R&B offerings like “1 4 U” and “Room In Vegas” mirror this sentiment. In a word, the musician praises a partner who makes her feel truly understood and supported. The singles showcase Autumn Paige’s ride-or-die mindset and how she’ll always have their back if they do the same.
Why Down The Rabbit Hole is a Must-Listen for Fans:
With Down The Rabbit Hole, Autumn Paige goes through the complexities of relationships, self-worth, and love. Whether she’s demanding respect in “Topless,” releasing the past, breaking toxic cycles, and opening up to new love in “Baggage,” embracing casual dating in “Rotation,” or celebrating being loved properly in “1 4 U” and “Room in Vegas,” she delivers music that resonates deeply. The EP showcases her versatility, blending emotional depth with smooth production, making it a must-listen for R&B fans.

Shoreline Mafia is officially Back In Bidness. After a five-year hiatus, the West Coast rap collective has returned with a brand-new album that marks their first full-length release since 2020’s Mafia Bidness. Led by core members OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin, the new project is a 16-track, 42-minute reintroduction to the group’s signature dark, ratchet sound—revitalized for a new era. With production credits from heavy-hitters like DJ Snake, Diego Ave, Bruce24k, DJ Paul, AceTheFace, and more, Back In Bidness brings the energy and grit that first put Shoreline on the map.
The duo first teased their reunion in 2024 with the single “Heat Stick,” followed by the track “Back In Bidness” earlier this year. On April 4th, they delivered on the promise, dropping the full-length album and making it clear: Shoreline Mafia is back and ready to reclaim their throne.
Shoreline Mafia backstory
Shoreline first rose to prominence in the late 2010s with viral street anthems like “Musty,” “Nun Major,” and “Bands,” quickly becoming a staple of West Coast nightlife. During their rise, they helped define a new wave of LA rap, joining the ranks of artists like Drakeo The Ruler, 03 Greedo, 1TakeJay, and AzChike. Despite their momentum, the group disbanded in 2020 following the release of Mafia Bidness, with members pursuing solo careers.
In a 2023 interview the group’s founding member Fenix Flexing stated, “Sometimes a part of growing is growing apart.” During their time apart, group members OhGeezy and Fenix Flexin released a series of singles and solo projects. OhGeezy also cemented his name in the history books as one of the most prominent Mexican-American rappers of the modern era. His work has cleared the path for more Latino artists to follow in his footsteps.
Back In Bidness
With Back In Bidness, Shoreline Mafia is proving they’re evolving. The album serves as both a celebration of their legacy and a bold step forward, proving that the chemistry between OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin is as potent as ever. As they step back into the spotlight, it’s clear that Shoreline Mafia is here to stay. And the West Coast is better for it.
