Nayome shines bright with dreamy new single “Gemini”

Nayome

Atlanta-based artist Nayome is spreading good vibes and challenging stereotypes with her latest single, “Gemini.” The song blends alternative soul and R&B. Moreover, it’s a soft, hypnotic tribute to an unexpected spark with someone born under one of the zodiac’s most misunderstood signs.

“I heard sooo many terrible stereotypes,” Nayome says with a laugh. “But I was on a high from the conversation and their charm. I wanted to write something in light of them and attach a positive light to Geminis. Shout out to ‘em.”

Originally from Austin, Texas, Nayome—real name Naomi Sutton—chose her artist name by simply spelling her name the way it sounds. “It felt natural. I identify with it deeply,” she explains. And her music feels just as honest. “Gemini” isn’t just catchy. It’s an emotional experience, something that matters a lot to Nayome.

“I’m passionate about music because emotions are contagious. Music can take you on a whirlwind of healing, destruction, love, and more,” she says. “I’m very sensitive and passionate about what I create.”

Moreover, her sound is influenced by heavy hitters like Jhené Aiko, Alina Baraz, Alex Isley, Sade, and Erykah Badu. You can hear that inspiration in her smooth vocals and soft production choices. Which feel both current and timeless.

In addition, there’s more on the way. “Gemini” will be featured in an Amazon series this summer, and Nayome is hard at work on her final project before releasing a full album. “It’ll be five songs,” she shares. “I’m engineering and mixing them myself for the first time, which is exciting.”

So what does she hope listeners take away? “To acknowledge their gifts and emotions—and use them in the way that makes their heart happy.” Thus, her music shares a deep message.

Following the buzz around her debut EP under the sun, the singer-songwriter is stepping into a bold new chapter with a track that’s as emotionally raw as it is musically captivating.

“‘vueltas’ was born from an idea I had stuck in my head for the vocal chop part on the last, exhausting day of a writing trip in Colombia,” VALÉ shares. “It took nearly a year to finish. Annie Tracy

Annie Tracy is stepping into a bold new era with her latest single, “Accessory.” The North Carolina singer delivers a smooth, confident anthem that blends fashion, desire, and self-worth—all wrapped in silky beats and standout vocals. It’s the first taste of her upcoming EP Scared of Heights, arriving June 27.
