Kanye West says he misses Pusha T after being mentioned in new Clipse song

Kanye

Kanye West is feeling sentimental after hearing his name in a new Clipse track.

The song, titled “Ace Trumpets,” dropped this week as a teaser for Clipse’s upcoming album Let God Sort Em Out. The track quickly started trending online, and not just because fans are hyped to see Clipse back. It also includes a slick line from Pusha T that seems to take a jab at Ye.

“Look at them, him and him, still waiting on Yeezy / I hope you got your squeegee,” Pusha raps on the track. “At your interviews, I just kee kee, life’s peachy.”

Shortly after the song dropped, Kanye jumped on social media to share his feelings. “I miss me and Pusha’s friendship,” he posted, according to XXL. The post caught fans by surprise, considering the two have been distant since 2022.

Their friendship took a hit when Pusha publicly distanced himself from Ye after his string of controversial comments, including antisemitic remarks. Around the same time, Pusha also stepped away from Ye’s label, G.O.O.D. Music.

The two had been close for years, collaborating on major tracks and projects. Pusha was a longtime signee under G.O.O.D. Music and worked with Ye on everything from solo records to producing for other artists.

Now, with Clipse making a comeback and Kanye still paying attention, fans are wondering if there’s a chance for reconciliation. Or if this is just Ye airing out some regret.

While there’s no word yet from Pusha about Kanye’s comment, it definitely has fans talking. Whether it’s just nostalgia or a sign of something more, it’s clear Ye still has love for his former friend.

Stay tuned—because with these two, you never really know what’s next. Have you gotten a chance to check out the new track yet? Let us know your thoughts below!
