As a journalist who travels for work, it’s easy to get caught up in itineraries, so finding a place that actually lets me exhale matters.
Luckily, my reset happened against one of the most beautiful backdrops I could’ve asked for. Sedona attracts travelers for its dramatic red rock views and “spiritual reset” reputation, but the Arabella Hotel manages to bottle that healing energy and serve it with boutique charm. From the moment I checked in, it didn’t just feel like a hotel stay, it felt like pressing play on a new mood.
The first morning, I woke up to sunlight and red rocks outside my balcony. No alarms, no traffic noise … just silence and color. I made myself coffee and sat outside longer than I planned, doing absolutely nothing. That alone felt like luxury.
Also, I loved that they had complimentary trail access right off the property. Just peace and a panoramic view worthy of a meditation app cover photo.
