FendiDa Rappa – “Point Me 2 (feat. Cardi B)”

FendiDa Rappa links up with Cardi B for a remix to her viral hit, “Point Me to the Slut’s.” As the title suggests, the Chicago drill rapper’s single is about looking for the ladies who are down for a good time. The song also humbles men who “cap in their raps.” As FendiDa Rappa questions someone’s authenticity, she warns them not to test her gangster. Cardi B raps about being unfazed by the rah-rah and putting others in their rightful place. The song also highlights Cardi B and FendiDa Rappa’s confidence and proficiency in pulling a love interest. Fendi raps, “All that ra-ra when I’m talking, they don’t hear me, though (Hmm-mm)/Play that s**t back, make ’em sit back ’cause we in this h*e (Hmm-mm)/Turn me up, I’m tryna f**k, point me to the s***s (What?)/That n***a tough he outta luck, foe’nem gave ’em up (What?).”

PARTYNEXTDOOR – “R e s e n t m e n t”

“R e s e n t m e n t” is about a lover who flees whenever things get too rough in their relationship. The singer delves into storytelling on the dark yet calm R&B beat to illustrate how not concluding disagreements hurts their relationship. The singer also says he’d like to work through their problems together instead of pushing them aside. Additionally, PARTYNEXTDOOR brings attention to his partner deflecting after they argue. The singer implies that “shawty turned in to the running man soon as she faces drama.”

Lakeyah – “Want ‘Em Hood”

Lakeyah illustrates what traits her next boo must possess in the commanding Southside trap banger, “Want ‘Em Hood.” In the nearly three-minute record, the Quality Control rapstress defines her dream man as someone whos rugged and bold. The song also finds the former 2021 XXL Freshman detailing what it means to be a true ride-or-die. Through a cut-edge flow, the Milwaukee-born rapper spits, “Ratchet but I’m classy/These ain’t Jordan’s these stilleto/Taking care of his mama/Stacking and counting commas/A Real Boss Bitch need a nigga who out the drama/Keep a fly bitch in the latest, like she Madonna.” Essentially, “Want ‘Em Hood” affirms that someone’s better half will come sooner than later.

Erica Banks – “Real Rap B**** (Poppin It)”

Erica Banks exposes the record label 1501 Entertainment for not rightfully compensating in her two-minute offering, “Real Rap B**** (Poppin It).” The “Buss It” hitmaker hinted at the release of this record in late June. Lyrics like this suggest that Erica has a bone to pick with the controversial label: “Give a f**k about that life, when they see me/ And they owe me some money, man, they greedy.” In the song, Erica Banks also highlights her list of accomplishments, lavish lifestyle, charm, and what it means to be about that action. The beat matches Erica’s commanding delivery with aggressive basslines and trap arrangements.

Liana Bank$ – “Dancing At A Funeral”

“Petty” hitmaker, Liana Bank$, sings about deading a relationship in her newest emotive offering, “Dancing At A Funeral.” Supported by an acoustic guitar loop and R&B elements, the singer expresses how moving on was the best decision she could ever make. Liana also follows up with a depiction of what seems to be a breakup party that’s disguised as a funeral. Every lyric written shows the more empowering side of being single. Moreover, “Dancing At A Funeral” lets it be known that some losses are secret wins. “My money way way up/Already didn’t deserve me then you went and pressed your luck,” she delivers. “Had a Mosh pit on your Coffin/Had to give your ass a rest cause you was so exhausting/Middle finger to the sky.”

K Johns – “Do Better”

The new single reflects K Johns’ current flossy sound, which is his most refined and polished version yet. “Do Better” is a smooth and catchy track where K Johns confidently tells a girl she deserves more and can “do better,” than her current relationship. In addition to rapping throughout the song and delivering hard-hitting bars, K Johns also gives audiences a melodic hook that will undoubtedly keep the song on repeat.

Theo Major – ‘Soul Ties’ (EP)

his captivating two-song EP delves deep into the intricate dance between lust and love, inviting listeners to explore the transformative power of romantic connections. The two tracks on the project, “JUNKIE,” and “Didn’t Agree,” blend elements of traditional R&B with genre-bending explorations.
