Read our picks below:

Rick Ross and Meek Mill – “Lyrical Eazy”

Rick Ross and Meek Mill’s new single, “Lyrical Eazy” comes off their upcoming collaborative LP, Too Good To Be True, which will debut on Nov. 10. The victorious-styled trap beat finds the two rappers elaborating on how they’ve been “mobbin’, flyin’ private, different hours.” Meek Mill and Rick Ross also touch on their rise to fame, charm, never-ending hustle, and how they deal with the opps. Lyrics like “Grew up in the projects, jumpin’ on the roof (Yeah)/Garbage bag full of dollars, I come for the movie,” and “Disrespect is not allowed, so we shot him down” reveal the song’s underlying meaning.

Flo Milli – “BGC”

Flo Milli exudes pure confidence in her newest offering, “BGC,” which stands for Bad Girls Club. The song samples Carl Carlton’s “She’s a Bad Mama Jama (She’s Built, She’s Stacked).” In “BGC,” the 23-year-old rapper hypes up her best friend, drops bars about their beauty, and even speaks about her own glamour. The 2021 XXL Freshman also shows off her more treacherous side. “V-I-P in the Bad Girls Club/Real, real bad, give a damn who judge,” she spits. “BGC” comes on the heels of Flo Milli’s “Chocolate Rain.”

City Girls feat. Kim Petras – “Flashy”

City Girls and Kim Petras’ “Flashy” is a beautiful blend of hip-hop and pop arrangements. Lyrically, the three artists speak about wearing nothing but exclusive drip and rocking these fashion pieces effortlessly. In the song, the ladies make it known that they only live life luxuriously. JT and Yung Miami deliver self-assured rhymes in their signature flows, while Kim Petras drops off the chorus with a hypnotic register. “Walk into my closet, you think it was a mall/Got more than one, two Louis and Gucci/Like three, four Prada, Murakami/Like five, six designers, I just mix ’em up,” JT raps. “Flashy” can be found on the City Girls’ new LP, RAW.

Li Rye – “Rookie of the Year”

1017 signee Li Rye declares that he’s undeniably the “Rookie of the Year” in the hip-hop game. The daunting, bass-heavy trap single sees the Mobile, AL native addressing the opps and his ultimate ascension. Similarly, Li Rye explains how his rhymes and artistry differ from his peers in the industry. Li Rye has made a name for himself in the music industry since signing with ATL legend Gucci Mane. To date, Li Rye has accumulated more than 12 million streams in the US and over 15 million total YouTube views.

Kalan.FrFr and Quavo – “Butterfly Coupe Part 2”

Kalan.FrFr is back with another remix to the Hitmaka and OG Parker-produced trap cut “Butterfly Coupe” after enlisting Tyga on the original single. This time, Kalan.FrFr exchanges braggadocio lyrics with Quavo, who uses his time on the mic to speak about his foreign whips, expensive taste, and lavish lifestyle. About the song, Kalan.FrFr says, “Working on the ‘Butterfly Coupe’ remix was a fire experience. Being able to work on this song with one of the biggest influences in rap music of my era, I’m reaching heights other rappers ain’t reaching.”

Valee and MVW – Valeedation

Valee and MVW’s Valeedation encompasses stellar production from MVW and clever wordplay from Valee. MVW says about the project: “The music feels like scenes in a movie more than tracks on an album, highlighted by different lighting on a thematic, subtle vibe. There is this sense of installation.” The 14-track LP has guest appearances from Zelooperz, Tony Shhnow, Pink Siffu, and Bbyafrika. Theme-wise, Valeedation focuses on perseverance, having tough skin, total transparency, getting to the bag, settling the score with their opps, and more. MVW’s beats touch on various genres, like trap and boom-bap, for instance. Each soundscape consists of its own distinctive sound. Valeedation is now available via MVW Productions/Fake Shore Drive.
