Lola Brooke – “You (feat. Bryson Tiller)”
Interpolating Foxy Brown‘s “Get Me Home (feat. Blackstreet),” Lola Brooke’s newest sentimental offering is about “going Taraji for my baby boy.” Accompanied by Bryson Tiller’s alluring vocal range, Lola Brooke uses her signature aggressive yet gritty cadence to detail the depths of her love language. Similarly, the Brooklyn rapstress illustrates how she’s not the average woman. Lola Brooke uses vivid rhymes that allude to her being wifey material. “Stop calling his phone b***h he catching up on rest,” she raps. “F***ing with me is a W f**k em at the W.” On Sept. 20, the “Don’t Play With It” hitmaker initially teased the charismatic hip-hop single’s release via Instagram.
Doechii – “Pacer”
Doechii’s “Pacer” is heavily inspired by the rage culture. Reminiscent of Rico Nasty or ppcocaine’s artistic style, the punk-rock meets hip-hop offering “Pacer” finds the TDE femcee challenges her opps to go toe to toe against her crew. In other words, Doechii provokes the enemies to “bring the clique.”
While using an in-your-face flow, Doechii raps about settling the score with her biggest haters. Additionally, the versatile artist effortlessly transitions to a melodic cadence as she drops confident rhymes about eating “them up like cannibal.”
To summarize, “Pacer” is about being in a different league than her peers. “I’m invincible n***as wanna see me fall,” Doechii raps. “You won’t ever hear me moan n***a I’m incredible.”

Emerging as the next breakout artist from St. Louis, the 23-year-old rapper BlakeIANA is making waves with her hit track “Bing Bong.” She dropped a remix and accompanying music video, featuring a collaboration with fellow St. Louis native Sexyy Red. The latest single from Burna Boy samples Jeremih‘s 2009 hit record “Birthday Sex.” The new song finds Burna Boy detailing the luxurious lifestyle that comes with being a man from the urban area. Burna Boy also drops several confident-ridden bars like “I go show you sey pounds and dollar po/’Cause I be city boy (I-I)/And as I dey for the streets e dey give me joy/Lamborghini boy (I-I).”
Ryan Charles – “Cold Beer Diet”
Ryan Charles’ “Cold Beer Diet” encourages people to stay true to who they are. The production integrates country and hip-hop elements. Throughout the nearly three-minute record, the Wyoming rapper uses a bouncy flow while asserting the importance of authenticity. In “Cold Beer Diet,” Ryan Charles also thinks back on his success story and embraces the results of all the late nights and early mornings. In 2024, the MC will debut his full-length LP.
Steven Malcolm – “Cardio”
In the words of Steven Malcolm, “Cardio” is about owning the greatness that results from hard work and dedication. Over the triumph-styled hip-hop beat, the 7-time GMA Dove Award nominee applauds himself for getting ahead in the rap game.
As he crosses between a melodic and seamless flow, the MC drops a line of confident bars that adhere to his tenacity. Not only does Steven Malcolm spit about “runnin’ this thang like cardio,” he also touches on his ambition, faith, and never-ending grind. The music video for “Cardio” captures the rapper’s immense love for Christ, dance, exercise, fashion, and fellowship. Steven Malcolm adds, “We all have a race to run. To be great and keep keeping on takes two things: a little inspiration and cardio!”
Ghost Kidz – “Big Bag (feat. Armani Ceasar)”
The viral 3D animated rap duo Ghost Kidz has partnered with Griselda Records’ first lady, Armani Ceasar, for their trap-heavy cut, “Big Bag.” In the nearly three-minute record, Ghost Kidz illustrates their hunger for money. Similarly, their rhymes highlight their initiative to get a “Big Bag.”
In the music video, Lil Ill and Filth-E embark on a money heist before linking up with Armani Caesar, who successfully dodges security. The “Big Bag” music video also finds Ghost Kidz dripped out in Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger, an ode to the custom limited edition capsule collection, also dropping on September 22nd.
One line that takes the narrative home goes, “Ghost Kids still the s**t(Check)/The way we do it Nike would invest!/When it comes to money I’m obsess/I’m like Durant addicted to the Net.” Their love for dinero is apparent within each of the rappers’ verses.
