Cash Cobain has had quite the run this year. He makes his return just under a month after the release of the remix to his viral single “Fisherrr” featuring Ice Spice. This time, Cash Cobain links up with rap heavy weight, J. Cole for the release of his latest single “Grippy.”

Cobain takes us back a bit with the sound of this single. The single “Grippy” is a reimagined version of his January release “Dunk Contest.” Additionally, the two singles have the same cover art with different color schemes. This time, Cobain recruits J. Cole as he pushes the multitude of the single. Cole seamlessly adds his entry to the single by utilizing Cash’s flow on “Dunk Contest.” Fans also get to hear Cole’s take on the popular drill sound. For this single, Cole is featured as the opening verse. Additionally, the two put a slight spin using the same melody of “Dunk Contest” Nonetheless he gives the song a complete new meaning.
