DD Osama recruits Coi Leray for new single “Upnow”

DD osama

DD Osama is taking NYC drill to a whole new meaning. His latest single “Upnow” featuring Coi Leray is gaining heavy traction and marks his first collaboration outside of the drill scene. DD Osama is a bright-shining star with the way that he’s been able to captivate a viral audience seemingly overnight.

DD Osama has released a string of viral singles prior to this, including “40s N 9s” ft. Sugarhillddot. In a matter of months, DD Osama is selling out shows, racking up streams, and gaining new fans with every release.

The hot new track “Upnow” is the perfect collaboration between DD Osama and Coi Leray, as the two match the drill delivery of the beat and exchange bars. Audiences also get to see Coi Leray in a new light, as drill beats are not typical for her. However, it works on this track — and the two have a surefire chemistry that speaks for itself.

Referred to as the “Drill Justin Bieber”, DD has become the heartthrob of New York. Born and raised in the Sugar Hill district of New York, DD Osama is one of the first drill rappers to make waves out of Harlem, first garnering local buzz alongside his brother, Notti Osama, in early 2022 with collaborations such as “Dead Opps” (12M streams). This past July, the tragic murder of Notti Osama shook the community to its core. As DD coped with this earth-shattering loss, he released a string of touching singles in Notti’s honor, including “Letter 2 Notti” (13M streams). As he continues to skyrocket, DD Osama is committed to fulfilling his late brother’s dreams of a successful music career. DD has sold out every single one of his shows—throughout the Tri-state area, in Chicago, and even in Los Angeles—and all of them have been packed wall to wall with screaming teenage girls.
