EBK Jaaybo pays tribute to his brother on fiery new track “Long Live My Brother”

EBK Jaaybo

Fresh off his viral freestyle on PlaqueBoyMax’s In The Booth and a buzzy stream with N3on, West Coast standout EBK Jaaybo (@ebkjaaybo) is keeping the momentum going. He just dropped his new single “Long Live My Brother.” Out now with an accompanying music video, the track is an emotional tribute wrapped in heavy 808s and the gritty, cinematic storytelling fans have come to expect.

At just 21, the Stockton rapper has already made a serious mark. Both in his city and far beyond. Named one of COMPLEX’s 25 Rappers to Watch in 2025, Jaaybo’s latest single finds him in peak form. “Long Live My Brother” is a lyrical outpouring of pain, loyalty, and resilience, delivered from an artist still navigating the complexities of California’s legal system.

Moreover, the new track follows a string of hard-hitting singles, including “F*ck Everybody (Free Maxx)” and his breakout “First Day Out” anthem “The Biggest G,” which has racked up over 15 million streams. His 2024 project The Reaper released while he was incarcerated. Furthermore, that album featured the viral hit “Boogieman,” which has now surpassed 260 million streams. Thus, marking the biggest song of his career so far.

Powerful voice in the West Coast rap scene

Born and raised in Stockton, Jaaybo first caught attention at just 14 years old with “Dondadda.” Since then, he’s carved out a lane blending the aggression of street rap with melody. Despite his legal challenges, he’s remained a prolific and powerful voice in West Coast rap.

Now, following the heartbreaking losses of his brother EBK Osama and close friend Young Slo-Be, Jaaybo seems more focused than ever. With a renewed sense of purpose, he’s investing in himself, aiming to build generational wealth for his kids. And carry the torch for a new era of California rap.
