GloRilla is taking us to church — and we’re here for it. The Grammy-nominated rapper just dropped the music video for her hit single “Rain Down on Me,” and it’s nothing short of a spiritual experience. Teaming up with gospel legends Kirk Franklin, Kierra Sheard, Chandler Moore, and Maverick City Music, the video is a full-on celebration of faith, love, and community.
Directed by Benny Boom, the video shows scenes of healing, baptisms, and powerful moments of compassion. Which perfectly matches the message of the song. It’s bright, joyful, and feels like one big gospel block party. Moreover, the song even won Best Inspirational Performance at the 2025 BET Awards.
GloRilla, aka Big Glo, is having a major moment right now. She just delivered a viral BET performance featuring Keyshia Cole, mob-boss looks, and even a tap-dance break. Plus, her new single “Typa” debuted in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hip-Hop Songs chart, proving she’s not slowing down anytime soon.
And if that wasn’t enough, Glo is also gearing up for her first-ever Glo Bash. It’s a hometown concert going down in Memphis on July 25. Between that, her summer festival run, and chart-topping collabs, she’s fully booked and blessed.
Needless to say, GloRilla’s glow-up is both divine and undeniable.
