Two West Coast hip-hop moguls have teamed up to deliver a brand new project that’s heating up the summer. Multi-Grammy Award-winning mega-producer, Hit-Boy, and famous underground LA rapper, Dom Kennedy just dropped a joint album together called Also Known As Courtesy Of Half-A-Mil.
The project came out on Friday, July 31 and boasts features from Nas, 03Greedo, and 24hrs. Its sound can ultimately be described as ‘west coast’ and reminds audiences of the two hip-hop heavy hitters’ talents.
Hit-Boy is a talented Grammy-winning producer who’s known for working with Nipsey Hussle, Jay-Z, Kanye, Drake, Beyoncé, and others. In January, he won another Grammy for Best Rap Performance for Roddy Ricch’s “Racks in the Middle.”
Kennedy on the other hand has also made his own set of waves in the underground LA rap scene. He’s also worked with several prominent artists such as Nipsey Hussle, Ty Dolla Sign, and Skeme.
