Ice Spice’s “Y2K” debuts to streaming platforms on July 26th

Ice Spice continues to usher in her “Y2K” era with her latest single “Phat Butt.” On Friday, she released the body positive toned record which is produced by her frequent collaborator RiotUSA. Additionally, she released the music video for the song which further encapsulates her “Y2K” theme.

Throughout the record, Ice Spice delivers sultry lyrics while demanding her respect in the industry. She carries this over her traditional drill styled party worthy beat.“Rap bi*ch on the pop chart, toasting bit*hes like pop tarts,” she says. Additionally, she displays self confidence throughout the just under two minute track. “Fat butt and a back tatt and I been bad like Mike Jack,” she says. For this single, she also shares a self directed music video. Throughout the video, she is seen rapping in front of a graffiti filled garage door. Ice Spice takes us back to the “Y2K” Era

Futhermore, This single “Phat Butt” comes from her upcoming album “Y2K” which is an acronym for “Year 2000.” This is the third single from the upcoming project. So Far, she released the singles “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)” and “Gimmie A Light” which samples Sean Pauls hit single “Gimme The Light.” The album “Y2K” is set to arrive on July 29th.

Moreover, Ice Spice is gearing up to go on tour. Earlier this month, she announced her “Y2K World Tour ” dates. The tour kicks off on July 4th in Denmark. The tour also includes 24 dates.
