Coming from humble beginnings, Rache Bands (@rache_bands) truly encapsulates what it is like to be a diamond in the rough. This Chicago rapper got his start with music as a neighborhood freestyler. But after continuously receiving positive feedback, he made it his goal to take music seriously. Through consistently grinding, he’s made a name for himself and recently spoke with Remixd Magazine to tell his story.

Rache Band’s rough upbringing plays a key part in his story & subject matter. A common theme within his music is having the ability to share his testimony with the world. He wouldn’t put in his current position without if he didn’t find a way to overcome adversity. Because of this, he makes it a point to help others get through rough patches via his music.

The Southern rap influence embedded in Rache Bands’ music certainly separates him from his peers in his region. Trap legends like Young Dolph & Yo Gotti inspired/paved the way for him to have a simplistic flow, as opposed to being overly technical. He’s shown that he’s capable of outshining more skilled rappers, because of his superb delivery,

If there’s any song that’ll turn you into a believer in Rache Bands’ artistry, it’s definitely “Believe In Me.” Beginning with the intro, the producer does an impeccable job of building raw anticipation with the children’s choir. Because once the beat drops, you are just flooded with emotion. For this song to have a runtime of 3 minutes, it makes the most out of each second and doesn’t waste a moment. More importantly, it’s remarkable this track was made to take listeners on an emotional journey in a short time.

My thought process was just making a song that everyone can relate to. The message is no matter what you going through never give up. Keep going to make all the non-believers, believers” – Rache Bands on “Believe In Me”

The accompanying music video for “Believe In Me” is bound to have you feeling uplifted and inspired. A true rags-to-riches story, the majority of the video takes place and is shot in a Houston jewelry store. But not just any ol’ jewelry store, but legendary celebrity jeweler, Johnny Dang’s store. Anytime a rapper buys from Johnny, it symbolizes that they are leveling up & that’s certainly the case for Rache Bands.
