J.Cole has been outside lately. The North Carolina Rapper is known to live discreetly as fans await new music from him. Although he has maintained a low profile in his personal life, he has been outside with his friends as of recently and even showed up for a surprise appearance. On Tuesday, J. Cole joined 6LACK for a surprise performance of their song “Pretty Little Fears” during 6LACK’s show for his “ Since I Have A Lover” tour.
On Tuesday, 6LACK’s tour lead him to Los Angeles, California. His already star-studded tour was graced with a guest appearance from J. Cole. Additionally, the song has obtained tons of success over the years. The duo released the single “Pretty Little Fears” in 2018. This track was apart of 6LACK’s album East Atlanta Love Letter. The song “ Pretty Little Fears” peaked at number 76 on the Billboard charts making it one of seven songs 6LACK has placed on the charts. A few years later in 2021, 6LACK and J. Cole returned to the Billboard charts with another song called “let.go.my.hand” which also features Dreamville rapper Bas.

Moreover, this isn’t the first time this month that J.Cole has made a surprise performance alongside another artist. Last week, he joined Drake as a surprise guest on his It’s All A Blur Tour date in Montreal. This performance came after Drake and J. Cole’s collaboration on Drake’s album For All The Dogs on the song “First Person Shooter.” This collaboration makes 4 years since the duo have released a song together. In 2019, Drake released their song “Jodeci Freestyle” as apart of his project Care Package.
Furthermore, fans continue to await the release of new music from J. Cole. His upcoming album “The Fall Off” has yet to have a confirmed release date. J.Cole has given fans a few crumbs with his guest appearances and features on other artist’s songs. As for 6LACK, his “Since I Have A Lover” tour continues with both US and European tour dates. The tour features opening sets from the artists Merba, QUIN,Jordan Ward, and Spinall+Sadboi. His next stop is on October 12th in San Diego, California.
