“If you don’t know Jimmie and Zach after this album, then you’re sleep!” were the bold sentiments from Riverside CA’s rapidly ascending acts.

Fans can start rubbing their palms together as the red-letter day is set for the briskly emerging LA duo — Jimmie Bishop & Zach The Hero’s — magnum opus record. So Far So Good will debut on all streaming platforms on January 28th according to the Riverside, California collaborators.
After making a statement with their maiden project The Ark, the music world has something to look forward to after reports speculating the duo’s upcoming project will be arriving soon have been confirmed. The Riverside, CA’s fast rising duo of Jimmie Bishop & Zach The Hero have asserted their sophomore project will be available this January 28th, 2022.
If you’re looking for a cohesive project with zeal, bars, stellar instrumentation, and all-round tightness, this is the tape to tap into this January all through the new year.
“After our first project we got pegged as the turn up guys, someone one day called us a more lyrical version of Rae Sremmurd. No shot to them, they make great music, but we always knew we had more in us than what was out there,” Jimmie told Remixd Magazine.
Now, our sound has evolved and become more musical. Still keeping the soulful trap foundation but elevating; more live instruments, incorporating different styles from alternative, to r&b even singing more on songs and boom bap also. This year and on people are really going to see what we’re capable of.
After a relatively covert 2021 where the promising duo put out three largely successful songs — Better Me, Going Up, and Outside — the indication that fans were hungry for new music from the West Coast pair was evident with the music videos crossing over 100 K views on You Tube alone.

“This project is just seeing and realizing how far we’ve come with this music s***” the producer-half of the group, Zach told Remixd Mag.
“We had been working on the follow up to “The Ark” for 2 years now and nothing was working. Everything was sounding tired and uninspired. We had joints here and there don’t get me wrong but both of us were kind of just working and not attached to anything at all” Jimmie reiterated of the project, before affirming the body of work is inspired by a happy relationship, and looking at things from a content view.
“So Far So Good was written from a place of happiness and contentment. Obviously things could always be better but life is really good right now” he says.
The two rappers and producers combine soulful trap production, candor, and a West Coast edge that has spurred them to multiple co-signs, opportunities, and a loyal fanbase that has come to hold them to apex standards.
“There are so many people that believe in us but so many that doubt us too” Jimmie shared.
With the new renaissance of West Coast artists currently assuming their rightful places shaping up the sound of the airwaves, gyms, car-rides and the clubs, Jimmie and Zach are abundantly and strategically harnessing a quiet storm of a full-length body of work, and their new project will stamp their relevance and influence in the game.
“Exactly! We have to be grateful for where we are right now and continue to work towards getting better everyday. The journey is hard and not always fun, but as long as we keep God first and focus on what’s important that’s all that matters.” Jimmie explained.
The duo has also teased a Deluxe version lined up for April, meanwhile watch their music video for “Going Up” and listen to their 2019 project The Ark.
