Kiana Ledé shares deluxe version of ‘Cut Ties’

Kiana Lede

A year after dropping her raw, soul-baring third album Cut Ties, Kiana Ledé (@kianalede) is celebrating the milestone the best way she knows how. She’s giving fans even more to hold onto. Today she returns with Cut Ties (Deluxe), expanding the emotional universe of the original project and closing out a chapter that marked a major shift in her artistry.

The deluxe edition adds fresh energy to three fan favorites: “Weakness,” now featuring Chlöe; “U Can’t Remember,” with Queen Naija stepping in; and “Outta Luck,” which gets a soulful assist from BJ The Chicago Kid. Kiana also delivers a brand-new single, “Jury,” a track that feels like it could’ve easily lived on the original album. It’s introspective, honest, and rooted in the kind of vulnerability her fans have come to expect.

Furthermore, Cut Ties was Kiana’s first release as a fully independent artist, and it showed. The album leaned into truth-telling, the kind that comes from sitting with yourself, unpacking heartbreak, and choosing growth even when it hurts. Fans and critics embraced it not just as a breakup record, but as a turning point, the moment she shed old layers and stepped into a more grounded version of who she is as an artist.

“This album marked a turning point in my life and career,” Kiana shared. “The deluxe version feels like closing the loop. A celebration of growth, healing, and the incredible support my fans have shown me this past year.”

A year later, Cut Ties has solidified her place as one of R&B’s most compelling voices. With the deluxe edition, she’s giving a few new shades, a few new collaborators, and one more reason to dive back in.
