On Friday, he makes his musical return with his latest single, “We Don’t Make Sense.” The now Afrobeats artist takes small detour back to his hip-hop & r&b roots for this single as he is currently balancing out more than one career during this release.
The songs’s title “We don’t make sense” perfectly depicts the message of the song. Throughout the song, Kofi details the ups and downs of a toxic relationship. He utilizes a fusion of sounds throughout the track. Additionally, he showcases his lyricism as he switches between rapping and singing throughout the song. His skill set lead him to being recruited on a collegiate level playing at The University Of Californian Los Angeles. He is currently still maintaining his athleticism. Currently, he is training with team Canada for a spot during the Summer Olympic Games. Additionally, he is making history throughout the sport. He recently set the new record for the highest spike touch in the history of the sport. Standing at 6”8, there’s not much he can’t already do.
