New Zealand pop musician Kylie Price channels unsettling feelings of doubt, fear and loss on brilliantly anthemic track “Keepin On,” an uplifting anthem built on a layered combination of acoustic and electric guitars, out on July 22.
The singer-songwriter who strikes a balance between emotive song writing and hook-laden sonics, leads with her bold vocal quality, weaving an introspective and relatable message on staying true to yourself and your dreams.
Born out of a period of frustration, the track sees Kylie pull herself out of the uncertainties plaguing her while offering her listeners the encouragement they need on their journeys in life.
Written on acoustic guitar back in 2018-2019, at Kylie’s home in Dunedin, New Zealand during, the track comes to life with producer Will Henderson’s heavy rock electric sensibilities wrapped around her powerhouse voice.
Speaking of the track, Kylie commented: “Keepin On is the pep-talk you need when you’re facing adversity and wanting to give up. It’s the reminder to keep putting one foot forward.”
The track will also be supported by a music video filmed in London by New Zealand videographer Taine Noble (Six Creative).
Having swerved from country music into pop, Kylie Price has found a place for herself on the Official NZ Music Chart with her two previous singles. With “Keepin On,” the emerging talent who is set to have four London shows in support of the single, is aiming much higher – capturing hearts of music lovers everywhere with a winning combination of feel-good music and memorable live shows.
