As Juneteenth is now upon us and recognized as a federal holiday, League and Two Time returns with the extremely touching visual for “Everything Black” from their forthcoming project “Buddha League 2”. The visual begins with a short clip of Kobe Bryant and Gigi, followed by prominent Black figures such as LeBron James, The Ball Family, Dwayne Wade. While the song is uplifting, it also touches on tragedies that have occurred in the Black community such as the death of Trayvon Martin, George Floyd, the dismantling of the Black Panther Party and more. During 2Two Time’s verse, his son also makes a cameo as he speaks on the paranoia of being a Black father in America today with the ongoing issue with police brutality. The now incarcerated Dreamville affiliate Correy C sings from the depths of his soul on the final verse as clips of historical protests play until the videos end.
