Following 2020’s collaborative hit, “Ginger,” Nigerian superstars Burna Boy and Wizkid have teamed up once again for the debut of their newest single, “B.D’or.” First revealed in early December, during a London performance spotlighting the melodic duo, “B.D’or” features Wizkid’s signature crooning, as he lends his smooth vocals to the infectious, upbeat anthem, led by Burna Boy.
The song, produced by PJ2, draws titular inspiration from the Balloon d’Or, a prestigious football award annually presented to the best professional soccer players in the world. The release of the track follows Burna Boy’s recent collaboration with rapper Polo G, as well as the announcement of his first headlining show at Madison Square Garden, making the superstar the first Nigerian artist in history to achieve such a feat.
The sold-out show is set to debut in April 2022, but in the meantime, fans can enjoy the newly released track, “B.D’or,” below:
