Boxing Vincent Manzullo’s sound is criminal. Fluidly intersecting between alternative rap, heavy flows, and smooth chill centric vibes, the rap renaissance man is marching to the beat of his own drum.
Inspired by conscious artists in the mould of Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill, Clarence Greenwood, and Eminem, just to name a few – Vincent is keen on the messages reverberated through music.
Very much in his own lane, Vincent has been able to churn out two projects so far. 2021’s Mind Over Oppressive Decisions & the latest, 2 Realities – that arrived February this year. Through these two offerings, his message has been consistent and powerful.
Accountability, introspection, collective unity, and a boisterous call to his listeners to be more aware of the powers that be. Addressing taboo and uncomfortable topics in a sleek manner, Vincent doesn’t bite his tongue talking about systemic oppression, racism, and multiple other injustices occurring in society.
Through singles such as “Look!” that have been guested on its remix by fire-spitting Jalen Santoy, to “M.o.o.d (Remix)” alongside veteran rhyme protagonist King Los, Vincent’s claim to fame is his impeccable ability to flow over breezy beats second-naturedly.
Finding himself delivering knowledge-grasping bars, cohesive chimes on culture, Vincent is one alluring act to watch.
On “Look!” the New Jersey born raconteur even calls out false prophets, declaratively stating “I’ve got master plans to save infinity” he testifies as he blesses us with heaven-tipped sounds. “He is the chosen one”, he brazenly beholds.
